The Commercial Hotel

We were up for the Three Springs Off Road Rally, we booked a double room for two for three nights, also taking advantage of thier continental breakfast and picnic lunch. Well what followed was a comedy of errors firstly they couldn't find our booking, finally got key to donga only to find the only light working was the bathroom, towels and sheets were stained and room was only set up for one. Next morning we went to have breakfast only to find no bread and limited supplies of cereals etc. Went get lunch from pub fridge only to find lunch was chicken wings and chips and nothing on day two. We have stayed at many pubs etc in our travels and I'd have to stay this is the worst to date.

I have it 5 stars because the two sisters running the place are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is dated and offers the standard country pub menu. It is clean and the meals were very nice.

I ate exactly what's in the picture on special $25 and It was lovely....love my mash. Beers were nice and cold girls were happy and good service. Accommodation was good too....cheers

Great little pub staff very pleasant. Food very good big serving prices a bit high for pub meals but overall good. Would visit again..

The hotel is in the process of renovating. The accommodation is not available. Front bar open with friendly staff. A variety of meals. Some are a little overcooked but still nice.

Cold beer served with a smile and the food was great what more do you need..... Great wee country pub highly recommended calling in.

Great meal and good service once you could get it. Stayed out the back in the Dongas and they were clean,expensive but lacked some essentials like tea and coffee ,,could be a lot better with a little attention to detail as staff were overloaded and had trouble dealing with so many customers.

Recently spent the best part of a month there with work... basic accommodation kept relatively clean.. meals were a bit hit and miss .. some nights they were really good other nights they were very ordinary.. not too sure that I would go there again
