SA Pathology

I find the admin staff so rude, my wife was 9 month pregnant and they are insisting to get mask, she asked me I don't have, they said to buy from any chemist shop..at least a medical facility can have the mask box. There are lot of people who does not have access or they forget.

Had my blood test form electronically from my doctor and, on arrival at this practice, a desk staff member told me that the SA Pathology staff member would print my form for me when it was my turn. I waited AN HOUR for the 6 blood tests before my turn, only to be told by the SA Pathology staff member that she couldn’t print my form as her printer wasn’t working and that I would have to go somewhere else. I explained that the front desk staff member told me that SA Pathology could print it and questioned why this wasn’t checked and left me waiting for an hour when they wouldn’t be able to do my test. I also asked if the front desk staff had a printer, to which she replied that the front desk staff had nothing to do with SA Pathology (despite me ‘checking in’ with them on arrival and notices saying that is what is required for SA Pathology tests).I then spoke to the front desk staff, who were also completely unhelpful and also turned me away - they said they had a printer, but couldn’t print my form for privacy reasons. I told them I was happy for them to print it, as it was just my privacy in question, but they refused and sent me away. I had to leave and go to the nearby QEH SA Pathology - I was really grateful that they were super helpful, printed my form and did my blood test within 15mins of my arrival.Pretty disappointed with my first (and last) experience at this Woodville Family Practice, as I was fasting to have my blood test (good thing I’m fit and healthy and waiting this long wasn’t a health issue, but too bad if I wasn’t) and in this current era, electronic forms are the norm.

Had one of the worst experoence this morning. The staff doesnt care whether the patient can handle herself on her own or not during the two hours of GTT despite the fact she cant communicate in english and she is with a 1.5 year old kid. And the reason given is the practice is too busy" so we cant have another person with the patient.Plus

Vile mannered receptionist with a huge chip on her shoulder...AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!

'as I failed to note the name of Lady performing blood tests'In less than the 30 sec it took for me to tell her about my last abandoned, painful and vein ripping multiple attempts at taking a blood test with a different clinic, she was finished and I hadn't realised she'd commenced.What an angel, I hope someone knows her name from the date / time.

Very rude and harsh behavioured admin stuff. I hated their behaviour with the clients.

Google shows wrong location. Search for 809 port road. It’s on Diana road. When I call them they are asking me search on road. They are least bothered to update the location.

My daughter is highly anxious so doing blood tests with her isn’t easy…. We have been to many pathology centres for blood testing previously. The blood nurses here are great for our needs. I highly recommend asking for Jane or Anne to help you if you find yourself in similar circumstances.

The worst experience ever! Need to do blood test with my wife and we forgot the face masks. We were asking the admin staff if they have spare ones (we were happy to pay for them) which we obviously have, then said “we don’t have stock! You buy from chemists!”.We left then came to another SA Pathology, the receptionist there gave us the spare ones in a second didn’t even complain anything. Now I understand why they always have many patients waiting.I can understand during Covid it was hard to get but not anymore. Face masks are essential in any clinic and they always offer to patients for free without any reasons.The worst SA Pathology and don’t waste your time to go there! 0 star if I can have that option!
