Remembrance Park

Beautifull Park with playground & birds...

An excellent respite from concrete close to Lidcombe centre. While away an afternoon with a locally made korean lunch box in pleasant leafy surrounds and take a moment to reflect at the well kept ANZAC memorial.

It's a pleasant park. Can feel safe even at mid night.

Always taking my grandson there he absolutely love it for a picnic and playtime for him

Great little park, but no shade on the playground. The ground is black rubber, so the play area is noticeably hotter than the surrounding areas.But there is great grass with lovely palm trees, so good spot for a picnic lunch.Toilets are there, but i didn't check them out.

Shame that the old fig tree had to be removed after so many years. Big empty space now. Could use some new plantings. No shade

We are waiting for the kids playground open again.

Love this park..

A lovely park with a lot of seating and a playground for children. Restrooms ate available.

A neatly laid out and well maintained park close to shops and the railway station. The park is well supplied with concrete footpaths and metal and wood benches. A small enclosed children's playground is located near the Northern boundary, next to this is toilet block. Plenty of bins are provided for those who choose to eat their lunch here.The park also includes a modest yet dignified war memorial, featuring an honour-roll of the fallen, and a statue of a WW1 Australian soldier. Several wreaths that would have been placed here on ANZAC day this year were observed during my visit.I consider this to be a nice park to visit, whether you are looking for somewhere to have lunch, or to pause and reflect. Recommended.
