Its just a carpark but often busy. From here there are several attractions . Short walks to the Gold Creek Reservoir and spillway, the Old Caretaker's Cottage, Moggill Creek Catchment Group Community Nursery, MCCG Forrest Walk. For more serious hikers there are several longer treks, one of which circumnavigates the dam ... an interesting 90-120 minute trek. Birdwatchers should find plenty to interest. Also, there are toilets and a small picnic area at the base of the dam wall, and creek.

One of the most interesting nature reserves that provide opportunities for the hiker who doesn't want to drive for hours to get out of the city. Gold Creek Reservoir is located next to the suburb of Upper Brookfield. It's a good picnic place for families. There's a small carpark but no toilets.

Limited car spaces. It’s gravel/bitumen with potholes. Locked gate to the reservoir, so you have to park here. With the gate being locked, it’s also not wheelchair accessible.

Lots of birds! Needs more seats throughout the park. Beautiful surroundings and great birding spot! The hiking was too much for us so we just enjoyed the park and the birds.

Carpark of Gold Creek reserve . Visited on a Saturday lunch time and it seems a good size as there was still a few spots available. Services a picnic area and a few hikes .

Good well beaten track of medium intensity takes about 1 hour to walk. If sight seeing or lower fitness 2 hours.
