Most racist manager I’ve ever encountered! We went shopping for my fitness birthday, only to be abused by the manager for not wearing a face mask even though we have medical exemptions and we offered to produce our exemptions! He said he didn’t care and if another customer came in that we would kick us out!! That’s discrimination and honestly racist to do that! He also called the police on us because he didn’t respect our medical condition. The police came and told us politely to because because it’s not the first time that the stores done that before. Don’t recommend anyoneGoing to any sunglasses hut because their staff are racists! Worst place ever.

Staff are burnt out, so they're either on eggshells or snappy. I sent an email to Customer Care 15 days ago regarding an issue with a transaction made at this store. I got a reply 13 days ago that there would be a response within two business days. Have followed up twice since, and haven't heard a thing.

Terrible customer serviceWent there to buy sunglasses, at first they seem to be helpful but when I spent more time there and asked about availability of models, they seemed to be agitated.Then I asked for a particular model which she said they don’t have it in store without checking system and next thing I saw it was laying on the shelf. It was OAKLEY WIRE TAP. It’s the moral responsibility of the staff to help customers irrespective of how much time they spent in store and how much information they ask from a staff. Absolutely Disappointing. Probably go to sunglasses hut in city.

Terrible Customer Service. But I think by the existing reviews you are aware that. Went through a half an hour process that ended with me purchasing online then standing there as I was told by one staff member to pick up from store as I had the receipt to do so on my phone to then be told by Clint the manager, you don’t have to wait around we will contact you it may take a while. Fail Clint. Never again.

the gentleman who served me was delightful to have been looked after by, as i have now purchased maybe 5 pairs from the chapel st store now and each time he has gone above and beyond to help me get the right pair. Even spending maybe 40 mins searching through my partners Facebook page to work out what type and brand of her favourite glasses were (as she lost them)so i could replace for her birthday showed his in depth knowledge of the product and helped me surprise her making the day extra special

Absolute shocking service. Bought a pair of glasses less than 3 months ago. Provided full receipt. With the colder weather only wore them 3 times and on the third occasion the arm fell off. Clearly a faulty product. Took them back to the store and they refused to fix them, provide another pair of give refund. Told me it was my responsibility to come into the store and get the screws tightened. I mean who in their right mind goes back to a store after every 3 uses to get the screws tightened. I mean do I have to come in every week with the warmer weather to get my glasses fixed. Where is the sense in that. $300 down the drain. Beware to never buy anything from them. - 5 Stars. Consumer Affairs here we come...

I have always found buying sunglasses to be a difficult decision. I personally buy when I feel comfortable with the sales person. I walked in and Mimi instantly made me feel welcome. After spending 15 minutes in the store, I decided to buy two pairs because of the level of service. The 40% off the second pair also helped. Thanks for your service Mimi and Clint.

Went into the store today and felt very uncomfortable as the manager was abusing these customers whom had medical exemptions to not wear masks. He also threatened to call the cops and he did so. I don't recommend anyone to go into this store as the staffs were very racist and were very discriminating towards people with health conditions.

The team on chapel street were really helpful in helping me pick out sunnies for both me, as well as a present for my dad for Father’s Day. They came up with great suggestions suited to me and were patient as i tried each pair on over and over. Thanks for your help!
