We enjoyed our brekky over at this cafe, which was a part of room + brekky deal by Hotel Flinders. Good vibe, friendly staff and tasty dishes. Would have been good if there was a little break in between both the served drinks ( hot and cold). Overall good experience. Will return for sure.

We dined in at Georgie Bass over the weekend and we really enjoyed the food, it was really filling and the flavour combinations were great. It was super busy with the entire Cafe full of people, it was quite cramped. We were not really appreciative of the service provided as we had to wait a long time to be served. When asking for vegan options on the menu staff were blunt and lacked effective communication.

If you could educate your team on the dangers of allergy’s in foods that would be great. We were sold a protein ball that we were told had no peanuts in it, my son is allergic, only to be told after he started consuming it that it “only has peanut butter in it” after they had then called the chef to re confirm. You did apologies and ask what we would like to do for replacement of the item, but this came after my son had already started eating this. We’re lucky he isn’t anaphylactic, although this could have been a very different outcome if this wasn’t the case. I understand mistakes can happen but staff should be confident in knowing your products they’re selling.

4.2I clearly haven’t got out enough. We found ourselves in Flinders on the shores of WesternPort. It’s such a lovely sleepy little village here. There’s a bit of class on show. This is a gem of a cafe. It would be very at home anywhere in hipsterville Melbourne. It’s a cracker. A smart, bright and very nicely fitted out modern cafe. It’s really impressive inside. It also has a gorgeous outside area including one of those beautiful covered areas with an ornamental grapevine on it. You can’t fault the style. It’s a comfy cafe whether cool or hot. We arrived at 2.25pm, 5 minutes before closing time on a Monday. They could have easily invited us to knick off but instead greeted us with a smile and happily served us.My long black was a beauty, my partner’s flat white “magnificent” - a direct quote. I eyed off the coconut tea cake enviously. It looked and tasted excellent. The service from the young server was charming from start to finish. We’d give her an immediate pay rise. We liked the look of the all day brekkie menu and the lunch menu here. We’ll definitely be back.

Stopped here for breakfast before continuing our Mornington Peninsula walk. Choice of indoor or outdoor seating if the weather suits. Fast and friendly service, nice food and good coffee. Car parking available opposite.

We enjoyed lunch here on Thursday. The raspberry ripe croissant was amazing!!!While I fed my baby, my coffee unfortunately went cold. However, when I asked the staff to reheat it they generously made me a new one. Thanks!
