Great experience for young kids and adults alike. Great hosts Joanne and Austin who are genuine, friendly and take the time to interact with guests. Daily animal feedings are fun!Well-equipped and clean cottages - note that there is no WIFI with poor 4G connectivity but it is a good chance to have a digital detox.Farmstay has a playground and is located close to local attractions - not too far from Naturaliste, Busselton Jetty and Margaret River. Joanne recommended Happs Vineyard and Wild Hops and it was a great experience for all. Will recommend and hope to come back again

We stayed in the Blue Wren cottage with 3 small kids. The cottage had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. Space was fantastic and the property is on beautiful bushland. Animal feeding with Willie and Gail was the best - they’re great at what they do and so friendly. They even gave us a hand with our twins during the feeding. Joanne is lovely and made sure everything was ok.The cottage had toys, books and games and the playground is brilliant. The property is close to Dunsborough, Busselton and Margaret River (not far from the chocolate factory!) so a nice central location to see the region.

We spent a weekend here recently in Blue Wren cottage with my daughter, her husband and their two little girls. The accommodation was simple but very much as described. The kitchen was well equipped and we made good use of the BBQ. Very peaceful cottage in a great location for visiting the south west. But the highlight was the animal feeding time with our 2 year old granddaughter! The kids' play area was also a great hit. We will definitely be back with our granddaughters. And both Jo and Farmer Aussie were delightful and helpful. Would definitely recommend

This place exceeded our expectations in so many ways. My parents, partner, son (1 year old) and myself just spent 2 nights in the Redgum cottage. The location is perfect, nestled in the middle of bush land we found our extremely clean and brilliantly presented cottage (the personalised welcome sign is a very nice touch fyi!!!!), watching the wild kangaroos hop past every morning and getting visits from the friendly peacock named Romeo, my son was in his absolute element! A travel cot, high chair and a bunch of toys, books and DVDs were all provided - excellent for all ages. The owners and staff are so friendly and take time to get to know you and also give lots of recommendations regarding the surrounding area and must see attractions. Feeding the animals every morning was the absolute highlight! Not only did my son love seeing so many animals up close and personal, but us adults loved the experience just as much. Will definitely be back and have already recommended to so many people!! Thanks for making our trip to the region so memorable!! We'll definitely be seeing you again soon!

We took our 4 kids here for a weekend away and it was AWESOME! Feeding all the animals in the morning was heaps of fun and really enjoyable, however other than a playground and old boat, there wasn't a lot to do, but it was close enough for a trip to Dunsborough or Busselton.Comfortable but cosy accommodation with TV and heater/air-con which worked a treat for the cold nights we were there.Great owners who were super-friendly and ensured we had a great stay.

Super friendly staff and owners, we were lucky to get this farmstay the night before we arrived in Yelverton. The animals are going to be a huge hit with the kids. We stayed at Rosella nothing fancy but very homey. Probably the quietest place I've stayed at. NICE!

We stayed here as a group of 5 families across 3 cabins and it worked out pretty great. I think we all had a good time, accomodation was appropriate with a good amount of plates pans and cutlery. Our cabin had 2 bathrooms, reverse cycle a/c(it was cold so the a/c got a workout), a larger living area and 6 bunks which worked well with our 2 families. It was a little bit separated from the other cabins which would be good if you wanted a bit of privacy, although you might feel a bit left out if you were in a group situation. All in all a good week end, don’t miss the animal feeding and the owners are lovely.Enjoy

We booked Rosella Cottage for three nights. We arrived mid afternoon and found the cottage to be suffocatingly hot. Granted it was a hot day but windows in the cottage had been left wide open which of course let the heat in. We located the air conditioner and turned it on to cool the place down before the rest of the party arrived. We looked for air con units in the three bedrooms but there were none. When accommodation is advertised as having reverse cycle air conditioning I think the average person would think the whole cottage would be air conditioned. Gradually the two bedrooms closest to the air-con cooled off but it took till mid evening for enough cool air to float through to the back bedroom. Two of the group took their shoes off upon arrival and soon found the soles of their feet were becoming very dirty. The floor may possibly have been swept or vacuumed before our arrival but I feel sure it had not been mopped. I visited Joanne, the owner and mentioned the heat in the cottage and the floor being dirty. I asked her for a mop and some cleaning solution so I could mop the living area. Joanne is very friendly and helpful so of course she obliged. She suggested opening doors and windows to cool the place off. I mentioned the peacocks might come in the doors and she said they were opportunistic . We found this to be true.Opening doors and windows might seem a simple thing to do and it would have helped a lot as afternoon turned into evening and the outside temperature cooled off. However flyscreens on doors and windows were minimal and those that were there were ineffective. Apart from the kitchen window all other windows were without fly screens. There were two sliding doors, one at the front entry and one in the back bedroom. The front flyscreen was torn along the edges and in a fragile state. The back bedroom door didn’t have a flyscreen at all. We were not at all keen to have the cottage full of mosquitoes or peacocks so the doors and windows had to remain closed. The two front bedrooms were presentable. However the back bedroom was not good. It was basically a narrow verandah that had been poorly closed in to make the cottage bigger. It was not at all suitable for paying guests. There was one tiny window which you couldn’t see out of unless you stood up. There was the sliding door onto a small concreted area at the back. This was a room with two beds in it. The room was so narrow that you couldn’t reach the second bed unless you walked sideways around the end of the first bed. There was a floor fan that helped move the air but it was not the sort of room you would pay to stay in. The single bed in that room needs looking at because it sinks in the middle. For a balanced review I want to add l the good things about Kerriley. The kitchen was well equipped. Everything needed was supplied. We had plenty of hot water. The towels were very soft and clean. The shower and toilet were very clean. There were plenty of games and toys and this was really appreciated. Other folk have commented on the ants. Yes, there were some but we never really found them to be an issue. The property is very quiet. The thing we liked best about Kerriley was the animal feeding each morning. The couple who do the animal feeding are brilliant with children. They remember each child’s name and ensure that all of them are actively involved in the feeding process. This is a real tourist attraction not to be missed. When I got home I checked on the Kerriley Park website. There were several photos of rooms in the other cottages but no specific photos of the interior of our Rosella Cottage. I wondered if this was intentional. A photo of the back bedroom in our cottage would not have resulted in any booking being made, I’m sure. Joanne gave us a discount on our accommodation when we made the booking a few weeks ago. Was this discount given because it was known that Rosella was very run down. We left the accommodation after only two nights, preferring to lose our money rather than stay longer.

Hosts are amazing & very quick to help if requested (fridge not working etc.) Pictures on booking sites are very different to what you get in person. Our cabin was sprayed by pest control 2 days before we got there, but we still had spiders IN my parents BED everynight and ants in ours and our sons beds, we were constantly checking and cleaning. Every night for our 5 night stay I was woken up by ants crawling on my arm. Ants in kitchen, which was frustrating trying to cook at all, everything had to be covered but even then the ants got into everything.Animals were great, very close to nature. We stayed in the Redgum house and had the Peacock come up to our back door everyday, which was nice. Quite tricky to try and navigate to the pool and playground as there are so many big red ants and spiderwebs. Pool and Playground are outdated, 4 year old son didn't play on the equipment because it was covered in cobwebs when we arrived, as well as the pool fence and the pool being unclean. Some of the single beds we had weren't meant for adults and even collapsed on my sister midnight, it was then we realised the bed was being held together by a rope. Would have been nice to be greeted when we first arrived, but key was left in the front door for us to go straight in. We stayed over Christmas and was relaxing, but most nights were super hot in the rooms!!Overall, just needs a good upgrade!

Hosts were lovely and accommodating. We arrived late with our two small children. We were welcomed with a fully heated cottage and pre-made portacot for the little one despite booking the accommodation so close to arrival time. Location is great and the kids park on the farm is excellent! Morning animal feeds are a hoot. We had a great time and will be back.
