Pinelands Pet Motel

We have had to use pinelands pet motel on multiple occasions to look after our cat and have been very happy with the service receieved looking after our pet.Cheers

Very poor service from this kennel. A booking had been made in August 2020 for Xmas. Four phone contacts with owners by phone with very limited confirmation of booking. Arrived on planned day to be rudely confronted by owner who refused to accept the dogs as “there was no deposit paid”. With the four phone contacts from August to December, no mention of deposit mentioned. Would have happily paid deposit if informed. Very rudely treated by owners and suggest pet owners, go elsewhere for appropriate pet care. This pet service does not care about ethically providing pet care. Please avoid.

Thank you to the friendly management & staff who looked after my 2 puppies Mitzy & Ebonie at Pinelands Pet motel, with their recently stay at Pinelands. This was their first visit, and I would gladly leave them here again as they seem to have enjoyed their stay last week. Appreciate all your help

My puppies and cats have been holidaying at Pinelands Pet Motel for over 15 years.They are always well taken care of. The owners Deb & David are lovely people and care about every animal that is in there care. The staff are also very loving. One of the staff's daughter often came in and loved my cats she would spend time with them just patting them and making them feel loved.I can't say enough positive comments about Pinelands Pet Motel. My dogs & cats go no where else for holidays . Thank you David Deb & staff for a wonderful service you provide for our fur babies .

My dog stayed for 3 days. He appeared to have lost a significant amount of weight and was starving when I got him home.

Exceptional service and our dogs absolutely had the best time.We had a Mini Dachshund and a standard Dachshund stay at this pet motel over Christmas 2022. Check-in was thorough yet efficient as was our experience at check-out. Dogs looked and smelled beautiful after their Hyrobath.We planned on the afternoon pick up originally however we got home earlier than expected and a quick phone call was all it took to arrange for the morning pick up.All in all an exceptional experience had by both humans and Dogg'os.

Andy our cattle dog spent a week here while we took a holiday.Thankyou for your care of Andy, he came home meticulously groomed, nails trimmed trimmed and well cared for.Thankyou to all the staff's, see you next timeHighly recommend this service.

BEYOND DISAPPOINTEDWe started doing our research last year in August for a new puppy ( our first) and found the Bichon Frise breed and a breeder that was 10 mins drive from us. We met with Debbie and David in late August to see their latest litter that had all been sold. We were sold on putting our name down for the next litter and having a puppy of our own. Over the next few months I had to follow up Debbie many times to see if they were doing the Bichon Breeding as she had mentioned they were going to do a Cavachon litter.I rang and introduced myself again and advised we were the ones that came to see the last litter. Anytime I got to speak to Debbie she was very helpful and answered a lot of my questions. Fast forward to October when I followed up again and found out she had bred two Bichons and a litter was due first week of November. Debbie asked for me to contact her close to the date, of which I did and found out the mum had 4 puppies. Debbie asked for me to contact her first week of December to make a time to see puppy at 6 weeks. I text her inbetween to ask for a photo of puppies along the way and had to follow up 3 x to get my first photos. I also asked again for another photo a few weeks later but didn’t hear back.We met Puppy at 6 weeks and she was beautiful. All was set to pick up at end of December. We picked her up and as we were leaving to take puppy home, Debbie advised that puppy doesn’t like to be left alone! Well what an UNDERSTATEMENT.We struggled with puppy , she wasn’t sleeping, getting up at all hours to toilet and could not be left for a minute by herself. On the 3rd day I rang and spoke to David as Debbie was busy and advised what puppy was like and he provided no help or support, he just said’ oh the puppy slept through with her litter mates here’, ‘ she shouldn’t be doing that’ in reference to toileting many times during the night. I advised David to let Debbie know I had rung. I never got a call from Debbie. Our plight was not getting any better and I rang Debbie again 2 days later, stating that I had run on the Saturday and she said ‘ yes we were busy’. I explained again what was happening and how puppy was. Debbie advised that I should be putting a pee pad in her crate each night and when she wakes up to go to the toilet, just shout at puppy ‘ to go to toilet in crate’ … well I tried but of course this didn’t work, and if anyone knows anything about dogs they usually don’t go to toilet where they sleep. So we persevered.We ended up getting 2 x trainers to come and help us , then the director of puppy school and a behavioural vet. We again made a call with Debbie to explain what we were doing and whether this puppy was going to fit with our home. We both work mainly in the office now and it appeared this puppy ‘ didn’t like to be left alone’ but on an extreme level. Debbie said that if it wasn’t going to work she will put an add on gumtree and try to find another owner, but had never had any of her puppies go to a behavioural vet before. We told her when our appt was , and guess what, she never rang back to see how our little puppy was or what the diagnosis was. We also were not going to hand her back ( after paying a huge fee for puppy) to know she was just going to go to some random on gumtree.We needed to think after we talked with the vet and director of puppy school. We tried our best and stayed home from work for one month trying to gain some momentum with puppy sleep and separation training but nothing was working. We had to make the heart breaking decision to surrender her to the beautiful behavioural vet that had been helping us.My opinion if anyone is going to get a puppy, ask the breeder about separation training, of which this breeder did not do and I don’t believe they provided any support to us, we live only 10 mins away.I would not recommend this breeder at all. It has been a heart breaking experience.

Our mutt was happy to see us on collection. The staff we very friendly and seemed to take good care. Happy to leave our pooch again in the future.
