Murray - Sunset National Park
Awesome national Park. It has some beautiful secluded camp grounds within arms reach of the river.

Murray - Sunset National Park
Wonderous and remote. NOT for the AWDs or soft roaders, real high clearance 4wds only, Great for a few days of remote and self sufficient camping, space for kids to be let loose. But......leave it clean and un damaged. It's not nice to pick up other people's toilet paper at a camp site!

Great place to camp (Ned’s Corner). Lots of space and plenty of shady spots. The only thing that let it down was that people couldn’t bury their toilet paper!!

Small C/van Park, good clean amenities, beach area used mainly for fishing and finding blue swimmer crabs. But at high tide you should be able to have a swim.

Murray - Sunset National Park
Hard to get bored with this place, so vast, changes from month to month. I've been in during winter, summer and everything in between. This October had a huge wet down coming in, decent 4x4 only, next day dry as a bone, standard SUV's made it to Shearers hut! Excellent motorbike tracks to S.A boarder then along boarder track and cutting back to Shearers hut, about 3 hours, plenty to see there, accessible by bike only along boarder track, pretty narly. There is a road that runs parallel to it for 4x4's about 100 metres to the left.

The Murray-Sunset National Park is the largest national park in Victoria, stretching from the Murray River in the north to the Pink Lakes in the south. The park is one of the few remaining semi-arid regions in the world where the environment is relatively untouched. With its wide open landscapes, breathtaking sunsets and starry nights, its vastness and isolation, the Pink Lakes will take more than a day to explore

Perry Sand Hills are great. Make sure to check them out at sunrise or sunset. Take a hard bottomed board to slide down the dune on. They are awesome. Beautiful soft sand

One of the few National Parks that permit free camping. Much unspoilt bush to explore. Wildflowers are great in spring. Highly recommended.
