Website literally says “ormeau removalist” so I called to get a quote from Ormeau to Ormeau and the lady on the phone spoke to me like I was stupid for asking if they could quote for me because “We DoNT hAvE aNyOne ThAt LiVes TheRE” like I’m supposed to already know before calling that no one lives here to take the job.Zero customer service skills.

The price is good, but unfortunately you are getting what you pay for. The movers were very friendly, but they were not very careful with furniture. I also had to pay an extra $100 for the company to move our fridge. I understand that bulky items are an extra cost, but I clearly let the company know when I booked that we had a large fridge and their was no mention of any additional cost. I was disappointed with the lack of communication.

Tono and Aaron did a great job for us. They handled our furniture carefully, with padding and tie-off done properly. Very helpful guys and they were punctual.Very good value for money. We strongly recommend The Moving Men.Rob and Carmel

Great team of Removalists. We had a pretty big move, everything had to go up an awkwardly shaped staircase and there was not a single scratch. Simple things like putting the TV on the unit for me and making sure everything went where I wanted it to go. On time and the job was finished earlier than expect. I would highly recommend this business - professional, reliable and friendly.

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!!!They damaged our TV and said they didn’t want to go through their insurance as their premium would become too high, they said they would replace the TV but then became MIA, I took this to fair trading and even through them, they refused to pay anything.DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

We have used Jason and the boys a few times over the years and always find them to be very efficient, on time and highly professional in their communications. The boys are all very friendly and are good at what they do. I have recommended them to family and friends and they never disapoint . I highly recommend them for your next move.

Terrible Communication and ServiceLet me say our removalist Pedro was fantastic. However his management was horrendous. Frankly our move went as poorly as a move can go, without things being destroyed.Booked an 11am removal. Was contacted at 11:30 to notify they would be 2 -3h late (note, 30 min AFTER arranged arrival time). At 15:30 the truck arrived, with only one man (I'd booked 2 men and a truck). The other literally arrived and walked off the job.So I had to help the removalist carry everything, with zero change in rate. Just charged the One man and a Truck" rate. Forget the fact there was a 4h delay

Have used these guys a few times and recommended them to family and friends who have also used them. I have never had a problem with them and will continue to use them and recommend them. Angela and jason are both very friendly, honest and professional. I can't imagine them ever having unhappy customers, and if they do the customer needs to take a look at their own attitudes and realize it's maybe them not The Moving Men.

We used The Moving Men back in February to move from Brisbane to the Gold Coast. The boys worked well together and were very polite and cautious to ensure there was no damage. I was very impressed. They worked fast and hard! Definitely recommend.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!Absolutely horrendous experience with this company. Organised the move well in advance for a 10:00am start on a weekday, therefore I took an annual leave day to get it sorted. Instead of 10:00am it was changed to 12pm, and then at 12pm I received a call to say they would arrive at 1:45. They arrived at 1:45 at the wrong address which was an hour away, they had arrived at the destination address, not the address the items needed to be picked up from... total disaster. They finally showed up at around 3pm at the correct address, which was the time the whole move should have been totally completed. I Was with the removalists while they unloaded the truck until 8:30 that night because they were fatigued being so late at night and such a long day. Was charged a travel fee which I was not told about when I called to book, I was extremely unhappy with this entire experience and emailed the company with my issues and request for a small portion to be refunded to me. It has been 10 days and all I’ve received is empty promises of a phone call to sort this out but after several emails to chase this up, if has never happened. They have made no attempt to rectify this. They are not organised, they are not cheap, they are not efficient and I would never ever recommend this company to anyone, terrible service and terrible experience overall, wish I went somewhere else.
