Pleasant and spacious spot for a quick family picnic stop. Covered gazebo and with 3 barbie locations. Nicely settled between the trees and near the stream. BEWARE reports of snakes near the river front so parents, keep and eye out!

Great open space, picnic table, w a small shelter with river running next to area,no toilets 2 areas for fire but no camping.

Great spot for or a picnic, there are fire pits, tables next to the river a walking tracks. Really beautiful spot.

A nice quiet place to rest, lots of animals and creatures for the kids to spot. Undercover area with seating in case of wet stuff and three or four campfire/barbecue areas if bans allow. Short walk to an old saw pit as well as a huge mountain of sawdust from the olden days. A little creek is easily crossed and lots of bushland to explore on both sides.A 4WD is not essential if the roads are dry, all roads are gravel or dirt, if the sign says Road" it should be fine

Nolans Creek Picnic Area
Drove an hour to get here specifically and was not disappointed. Perfect walk along the stream with family. Walked about a kilometre along water with 4y/o & 2 1/2 y/o no problem. Make sure to bring a big picnic. Fire pits there too with lots of firewood around.
