Wish I had of read the reviews on this site before I placed my online order.Ordered and paid for delivery of a load of soil a week in advance of when I needed it, then on the day I requested delivery I get a phone call saying they are very busy and delivery will not be for another 5 days. Would have been very easy for their web-site to say there is a delay in delivery. This is more than hopeless customer service it is no customer service at all.

My lawn is now filled with nails, glass, soft and hard plastics as well as rocks. This was supposed to be AL'S premi lawn top dressing, now I can't allow anyone to walk on my lawn for fear of a nail or glass going through their foot

Are you guys kidding, i think this ANL branch is awesome! Like my name awesome awesome. Ordered 30sqm of turf, 3. 5 tonnes of top soil couple weeks ago, no issues at all! Competitive price, helpful staff, fast service, the whole package. Will definitely go back for more.

Ordered a tonne of gravel to my driveway, about 1/5 of it was bark. I had to spend time either picking out all the individual pieces, or just using it for plumbing trenches with the bark still in it. Will never order from here again.

The first order I placed with them, they sent the wrong bagged compost twice. I refused to take it. The third time was correct.The second order I placed, I was told it would be delivered on Thursday, I rang to check at midday Thursday - yes it was coming.4.30pm a phone call to say it wasn't coming. It would be delivered Friday morning.Midday Friday I ring - yes it will be delivered this afternoon.30 minutes later a call from the driver loading the truck, that they don't have the main item I'm ordering.So I've wasted almost 2 days waiting for a delivery when they didn't have it. The people you ring and speak to don't seem to care. It costs me $60 for delivery, and I was willing to pay that but they still can't get it right. I cancelled the order, as it isn't worth the stress of dealing with them.I will avoid using them, it is too frustrating and they don't seem to care.

If I could give 6 stars I would.Hoags, Thank you.We had 3.5 cubes of soil delivered up a difficult long driveway, you came up the driveway with ease and dropped the soil perfectly as close as you could to the intended location. This will make my weekend so much easier. Your skill and expertise is much appreciated, thanks again.

Ordered 3 tonnes of gravels, 4 tonnes of riverstones and 2 m3 of turf underlay and 50 buffalo turfs. Delivery were smooth and easy. All the products are as described and in good quality except there are a few pieces of small plastic in the turf underlay. Other than that, will order again from ANL Top Ryde

Worst service area made me wait 20 minutes. Charged me more for the same second round. Was different guy though second time he is the reason I'm posting biggest gimp.

Mistake 1 - giving ANL the benefit of the doubt after reading the appalling reviews above.... the delivery process was a fiasco .Mistake 2 - ordering ORGANIC soil - it was full of plastic. Attached photo is from the first barrow load. Plastic was definitely not in the list of components.Mistake 3 - contacting Head Office thinking that I might get a reply.NEVER AGAIN.
