I highly recommend Chop Shoppe for creative fashion up-cycling. Heather took my tired 90’s-style black leather jacket, which was always too large for me, and adjusted it to fit me, modernised the style, and glammed it up with new collar and cuffs made from a great blue/grey faux snakeskin material that she had in her stash of interesting fabrics.Heather is amazingly creative, and I love the fact that I now have a “brand new” jacket made from an existing piece of clothing that I stopped wearing years ago. So not only is it great for my wardrobe, it’s great for the environment.

Always a reliable and enjoyable experience/service. I am so grateful to now know where to take my much loved clothes to be repaired/revamped. Cannot recommend this place more highly. Additionally, some great classic vintage pieces in the shop front!

Can’t speak highly enough of this amazing business. I had two of my favourite jackets that needed a bit of love and the staff cared for my items like they were their own. I won’t go anywhere else.

Last month I dropped off some tatty, old pyjama bottoms I had bought at a market stall as a 13 year old when my parents were living in Nigeria. I had kept them right through until those digits reversed to age 31 because I was clinging onto the memories. I took them to Chop Shoppe to see if they could breathe new life into them. Heather mocked up some pants designs and listened to the key features I liked in a pair of jeans. A month later and she had transformed my old pj’s into the most unique, tailored, high quality pair of flare jeans I can now wear out! Photos attached. Heather was fantastic to work with - she listened to all my requests and produced something very special. Thank you ☺️
