Damien managed to work through a challenging job replacing an old brick retaining wall to a concrete sleeper wall. A lot of care was taken to ensure the job was done right. The end result is a very neat job that will stand the test of time.

Damien and the crew from EARTHCON did an amazing job constructing our three rock high Malabar retaining wall. The rock retaining wall is simply amazing to look at and I feel confident it will be impressive for the decades to come.I gave Damien a call to provide a quote and advice about getting the backyard landscaped and the retaining walls built. Damien was able to understand my crude ramblings and hand gestures to be able to provide suggestions for what would be an appropriate landscaping solution. Whilst I knew what I wanted to be done in the backyard, Damien persuasively made suggestions (no doubt from his years of experience) that improved the use and functionality of the site.I had acquired some ninety rocks independently from a regional quarry in Victoria and had them delivered to my backyard. The fact that I was supplying my own rocks did not pose a problem for the crew. Damien was able to place the many large and irregular rocks into a coherent and compelling structure.The guys worked productively for three days to level the yard, build the wall, backfill and adjust the rocks in place. The team used an excavator and loader to set the rocks in place and clear the yard. I was impressed with the precision and efficient use of the heavy equipment, the careful positioning of each rock is evident. I was considering hiring some equipment to do some of the work myself, but after watching the assiduous work of Damien and his team I have no doubt what they did in three days would have taken me three months!When the time comes to finish off a minor section at the rear of the property I would not hesitate to contact Damien and the team from Earthcon again to complete the job.I would post a photo to accompany the review, but Damien’s is also an enthusiastic videographer, so I got a feeling his imagery is better than mine!
