Farran Street Quality Child Care Centre

Our son has been going to Farran for 6 months now and we couldn’t be happier. The staff are attentive, kind and caring and our son has flourished under their care. The educators are lovely, providing detailed and prompt daily communications about the daily happenings. Special shout out to Manju, Jacob and Simone (impossible to pick one favourite!). Thanks Farran!

Can not rate this centre high enough! We moved our daughter here from a larger service and she has flourished during her time at Farran Street. The owner invests in the professional development of staff and provides a welcoming environment for children and parents. We have seen a significant improvement in our daughters confidence, well being and development since moving to this service. The staff create a sense of community and actively hold events that parents can attend. Communication of the program and activities is daily and to a professional standard. Excellent service!

Farran St is everything we hoped we'd find in a Daycare centre but wasn't sure still existed. It's like a family in so many ways. Our son has been so beautifully loved and nurtured but the staff are firm and sensible too - he doesn't get away with too much which is just the way we like it. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

The whole team and environment at Farran St is wonderful. The educators are very involved, caring and focused on my child's development. It feels like a second home and is much more than just supervision for the day like some other child care centres we've experienced.

We have been a part of Farran street for 4 years now and we love it. All the educators are so caring and know my children really well. As soon as we walk in the door we are greeted with happy smiles and a willingness to make sure the children are happy to be there. I don't think I could mention a favourite teacher as they are all so wonderful!

Very happy with Farran St. It's a small daycare in a refurbished house on a quiet residential street and it's lovely. Our daughter is currently in the babies room which is headed by Karlie, and really enjoys going to daycare and doing different activities there. The educators are amazing, hands on and friendly and genuinely care about the wellbeing of the children there. All the meals are cooked on site by Sabina and the children play inside and out in the garden when the weather is good (there is plenty of shade in summer). We couldn't be happier with this daycare and the team there. It's not cheap but the price reflects the high ratio of educators to children and the care given. When I last checked, Farran St was exceeding all the National Quality Standards.

We're so lucky to be able to send our 2 children to Farran St. All of the educators there are incredible. They are committed to very best practice, and care so much for the kids. I love it is a calm environment which our kids enjoy. They communicate well with all the parents and a highlight for the kids is the regular excursions to bushwalking, school oval and the local nursing home. They are very progressive and instil modern values in the kids. Thanks so much. It's very hard to nominate a favourite educator, because they are all our favourites, but Lillian is particularly amazing!

Our daughter started at Farran St 4 months ago whenshe was only 7.5 months old and we couldn’t be happier. The educators really go to extra miles to make sure my baby is well taken care of and the genuine love to the kids is unfakable. The education programs are well thought of and carefully designed even for babies at such a young age. Lunch deliciously cooked on site and nice snacks throughout the day. I’m also very satisfied with the efforts behind the control of spreading of germs through cleaning and hygiene practices and procedures, which may sound basic but so important for parents to feel reassured to send their kids to the place. So far it seems the staff and kids are quite stable as well, which also reflects it is such a happy place to stay. Highly recommended!

We've been sending our daughter to this place for half a year now, and we couldn't be happier! While it's comparatively small, I feel that they're using this to their advantage and give the centre a very friendly and caring feel. All the employees are super friendly and really care for every child. The daily updates with pictures are very nice, too, with thoughtful and informative pieces written about either the children or some educational component of the day. Our daughter loves going there!
