Rug Genie, are one of the worst business operators in Sydney. The rug we had cleaned is a Sisal rug, which was ruined by these supposed professional rug cleaners.The rug was cleaned for $270 and was returned to us in a worse condition than its original state.The rug was dropped off outside the front door without any notification, even though the vendor explicitly stated he would show the results before the rug was returned and payment was made.The vendor was contacted and we complained that the rug had water marks and colour runs in the rug, which are blatantly obvious. The rug also reeked of vinegar and was semi damp?The rug was picked up again by the business operator and a second attempt was made to clean the rug. The owner promised to deliver the rug and ensure that we were satisfied with the results, within a 3 day turnaround. The rug was returned 2-3 weeks later and was in a worse condition still.The business operator is refusing to answer calls regarding the issue and has obviously ignored all requests.Pretty poor for a local business as we are local to the area.
