Absolutely wonderful! Knowledgeable, professional, caring, and supportive towards both dogs and humans. By following Anne's excellent advice we started seeing changes in our anxious/reactive dog quickly. My partner and I just completed puppy preschool with Pawsitive Connection. The class was very practical and we learnt so many skills. Anne is so kind and always took the time to answer any questions that we had (including emails outside of puppy class). We would strongly recommend this class. We have also had private training and participated in the community skills class for our older dog who can be quite reactive. We can see a big improvement since starting these sessions.

I had the pleasure of working with Nicola with my anxious fur baby Daphne. She still has a way to go but I’m so proud of her progress. Nicola has given me very helpful tools to work with and I will definitely be using her services again when Daphne and I move to our new home closer to the city in a few months to ensure she has a great start. The private sessions with Nicola from Pawsitive Connection both at home and later at the park completely changed the way I was dealing with my puppy’s behaviour. We practised consistent language and skills. Nicola also suggested trying some different equipment. Her summary of every session and reminders of things to practise before the next session were so helpful and kept me on track.I will always be grateful to Nicola for her encouragement and the way she noticed even small steps along the way. The experience of positively training a dog and changing the way I react to puppy behaviour has been very rewarding.I would definitely recommend Pawsitive Connection.

I am so pleased with the ‘touch’ skill that Nicole taught me and it is working so well for me enabling me to call Pepper away from the distance even in distracting environments. Other skills Nicole taught me was how to introduce gradual desentisation to loud noises which is helping Pepper to become more comfortable with various sounds in the environment. Nicole had so many ideas and videos she shared especially the milk bottle to ease separation is a god send. Pepper is active and intelligent and loves it. We called to talk about some behavioural therapy for our puppy to go along with being neutered.Not only were we given very vague information about how neutering would affect the temperament of our dog, we were also told that our number would be passed onto a therapist who would call and book in with us. It’s been two weeks and no one has called.I think for a business that has tried hard to brand itself in such a caring and friendly manner that they should train the people who answer calls to be able to field dog related questions such as the one mentioned above. The receptionist at the vet gave us a far better detailed explanation - quite impressive for an administrative staff member.Anyway. The last two weeks did, at least, help us clarify what questions we would ask a behaviouralist before engaging them. What qualifications they hold, how they intend to curb xyz behaviours in our dog etc.Thanks.

I highly recommend Pawsitive connection - We recently adopted Rocky a now 9 month old cattle/Collie x and a friend of mine had recommended Pawsitive Connection. Rocky and I worked 1:1 with private sessions with Nicola and I'm so happy with what we learnt and the advice and coaching Nicola provides. Nicola's in depth knowledge with dogs and her ability to read behaviour and provide advice / coaching is outstanding as is the client service/support. We will definitely be doing further dog sport training or other courses with Pawsitive Connection!

Have been a client of Pawsitive Connection over 14 years. Have attended classes in every type of dog sport except disc. The trainers are very knowledgeable and committed to all of their clients and their beloved pets. Attending dog sports with my dog Xena is the highlight of my week.

We were recommended Pawsitive Connection by our doggy daycare operator - someone we trust implicitly - and we're so glad she did. We took our puppy to starter classes with Nicola and found her friendly, professional and supportive; as a dog owner, you're always conscious of how your dog behaves (and whether you're messing up or not!) and her focus was always positive and encouraging. We went on to enrol in a second class, and are now about to start our third... so highly recommend!

Great trainers, who are extremely knowledgeable and compassionate! Anne has been fabulous and has helped give my new puppy the very best foundation for life with positive socialisation and interactions from 8 weeks of age.Dog training is completely unregulated, but the PC team are all very well qualified and up to date with force free training methods. Highly recommend!!!
