Best Western Caboolture Gateway Motel

The lady who checked us in was friendly.We were unfortunately up the stairs- which wasnt good with my limited mobility but we did book last minute and were offered a similar room on ground level but was a little smaller.Room was a nice size, beds were nice and firm and clean- some minor attention to detail misses in cleaning but overall was fine. Good amount of provided/included cutlery, plates, cups, towels etc.The loss of stars for us were the water pressure in the shower was not great, being on the main road and at the front of the lot the road noise also having to park put front made us feel alittle uneasy safety wise.We did pass other places we were going to stay that looked terrible so glad we stuck with the Best Western name with this place, was also nice and close to some attractions we were visiting.Overall we would stay again- just would make sure easier access and safer parking.

We stayed over the Easter long weekend of 2022.The rooms are extremely clean, as are the surrounds. Great pool with a shade sail. The grounds were exceptionally clean.Our tea/coffee milk ect was topped up each day.Great laundry facilities.A/c was great, filter clean air. We had a couple plus an extra adult. The single bed for the extra adult was situated in a crook, so plenty of space. Large room, bar fridge, electric hub and toaster. Cutlery provided plus dinner plates and bowls. Car spaces were wide.It is on a main thoroughfare yet we were not disturbed by traffic noise (and I'm a very light sleeper!).Very comfortable and clean beds.Under new management.It's about 700 metres from a small shopping plaza which includes a Coles supermarket.Excellent free WiFi. No issues with time outs etc.Great management.Highly recommend.

Hotel was disgusting, not clean at all! I picked up a straph infection during my stay here not only once but twice!! The place just felt n looked dirty to begin with and is definitely not worth the expensive price. Charged me a 100 cleaning fee the next day when i left the motel tidy and was extremely rude on phone when telling me about this charge they made.I somehow had a reservation booked recently and i had started i did not make it before the stay and asked for a refund that i desperately needed to buy food for my daughter and i for a fortnight. They refused the refund the next day after making me wait over night acting as if they'd refund it. I was a bit angry and i said i wasn't happy and had the old lady from front swear at me on the phone and hangup. This hotel has by far been the worst place I've stayed in and I've never encountered such rude nasty receptionist before in my life. I definetely recommend spending the overpriced room fee elsewhere. There's always a problem with staying at this motel and the employees are mean and do not care about there customers whatsoever. 0/10. Worst motel I've ever seen and they go by best Western". False advertising for sure. Don't waste your money. They certainly fit in in caboolture."

Kicked us out 2 days before the end of our stay - our stay was booked by salvos homelessness team who wasn't available until the day our stay was supposed to end so we were unable to confirm our booking dates. Then after I packed our things, stripped the beds and put the towels and sheets in a nice pile, they've sent a bill for extra cleaning. Until this point everything was fine and they seemed pleasant. Maybe stick to short stays - just beware.

Possibly the WORST place I have ever stayed.Wish I could give a negative rating.Checked us into the incorrect room originally. Then they acted like it was our fault they had given us the incorrect room key and number. The staff were horrible and rude and not helpful at all! Lock in our room was broken and the amenities were dirty. The people running this motel should quit or sell up as they have 0 care for their customers!!! DO NOT RECCOMEND!!!!

The rooms are clean, modern and well equipped with everything you need! The pool is perfect for the kids to swim while you cook dinner poolside on the bbq!The in-house room service food is just brilliant! It’s close to the hi way (and shopping). The owners are wonderful and can accommodate for your specific needs.I really enjoyed my stay!
