A hidden gem you would otherwise not discover if not for the ferry to cross the river.Other than the long wait times for the food to be ready due to the small kitchen, the quality of the food was surprisingly high. The portions were a little small to share between a table of five but the flavours were dripping with essence. The oysters were goooood but it’s on the pricey end.

There are very few restaurants this good for quality, location and views. On a blue sky day it simply glows.Come on a weekday (weekends are packed) and Mario gives you just the right level of service - he takes you through each dish and the intricate details needed to make each bite amazing. The dishes look like works of art, the food tastes amazing (the rocket and eggs from his farm, the marscapone must be from Italia) and the wines are great.The only debate was if it was a one hatted or two hatted standard of restaurant, and where does it slot in compared to other top level Italiano restaurants in the City or Paddington. Keep it up Mario, we salute you.

Food was sensational prepared with passion. Location was awesome. Perfect for a date but a bit pricey for a group of more than 5 read the fine print on their website. Owner Mario was friendly but service of staff could be better. Overall a hidden gem in our local area totally worth the experience.

Mother's Day lunch, annual tradition, never fails to delight! So lucky to have this little gem in our back yard. Mario is the best host, the menu devine, the view a knockout. Thanks Mario for another fabulous meal!

Absolutely loved this gem of a place at Berowra Waters! A little cottage in a scenic waterfront location serving authentic but very different Italian food. I love when a place is passionate about the dishes on their menu. This was very evident when we tried to order a pasta dish but wanted it without the pancetta which was part of the dish. We were told that it could be done, but the chef would not recommend it, as it would be downgrading" that dish.... and he would not want to serve us any dish he thought was sub-optimal! This speaks volumes about the quality of food this establishment likes to put forward!"

The setting is the highlight- overlooking the water with the sunset is beautiful.The food is not bad but not amazing.Parking can be a challenge! Keep that in mind before you get here.

Service, Location, Food Quality & Quantity was immaculate.Between 6 girls on the set menu there was more than enough food, we ended up taking some home with us.Thank you for having us, we will definitely be back to this hidden gem.
