I usually have a really good experience at this store in Preston. However today, during the crisis, I went into the store to buy some supplies for a project.My friends and I were asked a few times if we needed help while browsing. We politely declined and were eventually asked (quite curtly) if we could hurry up and leave the store since there was a line waiting out front.I was happy to oblige since I understand the current climate. However after leaving the store my friend told me that the staff had been openly talking about us being rude and irritating for browsing.I buy paints and supplies from this store quite regularly since I am studying a design based course at University and have spent upwards of 300 dollars worth of products from them.I know everyone is stressed during this time but extremely unimpressed with the behaviour of staff. They are only lucky my girlfriend was too embarrassed to let me go back and ask for a full refund and apology.EDIT: 10/05/2020Hello KerryThank you for your reply. I can't respond to your reply through google review and haven't been able to find a contact email for you so I hope you see this.My friends and I were not browsing for an extensive amount of time, possibly around 5 minutes. We were asked 3 times if we needed assistance to which we replied we were just browsing to be polite (I was looking at possibly buying an art journal on top of the items I was already holding when we were told of the state of the regulations and asked to make our purchase and go).I think this could have been smoothed over by the staff just telling us the state of the restrictions at the door. There was no need to make it personal by insulting us within earshot. I would have been happy to move quickly through the store if I'd been made aware of the need for more urgency.Thank you for your follow up and I hope these conditions relent soon.Kiri

They have made alot of changes since I was last there. Has two steps that you need to walk up to enter. Not good with people with disabilities. Still like the things they stock. Will return, only, with support person for the two steps. They are stocking less singles in the pencils section. Not thrilled about that. Be careful when using card to pay for your purchase. I prefer cash here.

Great selection (much improved from the previous St.Georges Rd location), very helpful and knowledgeable staff.

The staff here are always super friendly and helpful. I'll go out of my way to go to this store for art supplies because of them. Thanks guys!

Good folks, great products and the most reasonably priced and best stocked of the art store chains. Love you guys. Such a huge help! Not pretentious like SOME art stores (cough-riot art Northland- cough)

Found this place today and happy I did. I was instantly helped to find what I needed and was in and out very fast. Even in that short time I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff so much so I was compelled to leave a review. Great work and hopefully I will need some more things soon so I can go back. Great prices too on what I bought.

Fantastic knowledgeable staff

Great service from a small but dedicated team. They are helpful and friendly. We were able to get every thing required for a Uni project and to ensure we had spare.The prices are not cheap for these things, but the student discount makes it worth while and much more affordable.Strongly recommend for your art assignments and crafters
