The service at Trek Brighton is excellent. I couldn't have been happier with how well I was looked after by the team there. Highly recommended!

I experienced poor post-sale customer service at one of the Trek stores, which resulted in a dispute. When I contacted the Trek Customer Care team, they immediately provided me with assistance above and beyond my expectations. Particularly, I would like to thank Ben for his excellent communication skills. I would highly recommend Trek bicycles.

Emonda gets 5 stars, Trek get 1 star.Purchased my Emonda in late Dec 2017 and as soon as I rode it I knew this was going to be a great bike to ride. Shame the service didn't match the bike....I expect at least an average service level from a $4.5k+ bike purchase2018... it turns out the front mech and chain catcher weren't set up properly...big chain off and Trek store was unresponsive to my emails and calls.... out of pocket $550 for a BB carbon repair. I believed this should have been covered under warranty due to below standard level of care when setting up the bike.2020, took the bike in for a service and it came back with a chip out of the paint which I didn't notice until the next day...couldn't prove this so just left it put some clear varnish over it.During the service it turns out most of the nipples were cracking and would need replacing on the carbon rims. They were 6 weeks outside of a 2 year warranty at the TIME OF DISCOVERY (took me 3 weeks to get the bike in for a service too so would have been picked up earlier) so the costs of a rebuild sit with me ($150 labour) and they covered the parts, yeh thanks, $30?!. But I do understand you have to draw the line somewhere. I get the rims back and the black nipples are replaced with silver brass nipples on a black set of carbon rims....it's like taking your black car for a repair and it coming back with a white bonnet and boot. Not only that, but I had to call numerous times to confirm pick up (they said they'd let me know when to expect them to be ready, but assured me it would be by the end of the next day) and no one got back to me...it's 20mins before closing and I get through to them and apparently they're not done. Communication and care was shocking to be honest. Just pick up the phone and let me know and don't avoid my call!?Anyway, was going to buy a Trek MTB and upgrade the Emonda but I'll be going back to riding Giant as they always backed their products with great service and replaced a whole wheelset that was outside of warranty due to a known defect at one point.Advice to Trek - put your R&D into better after service.
