They hired me to do an emergency job over the Christmas break. I did what needed to be done but, when it came to payment for my services they didn’t. After numerous calls and messages regarding payment there was no response. Ill take the loss but they can have a negative review much like the other ones on here. I should known better with a name like ‘men behaving badly’. Please avoid at all costs.

This was a quick and easy process to book a handyman and I am very pleased with the work that was carried out. Thomas arrived on time and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend this service.

Terrible service. I booked a handyman to do a job through them and on the day he was supposed to do the job, he called 30 minutes before he was due to arrive and said he couldn't make it as he was going down south with his daughter. I tried to rebook the job with them a few months later, and they confirmed a different handyman would come around at 10am on the date we arranged. At 10.30am there was no sign of the handyman. I was then informed that he was tied up at another job and wouldn't be able to get to my place until 3pm – five hours after the job was originally booked for. Completely unacceptable seeing as I'd arranged time off work in the morning as they had confirmed the job.

This company was booked by our Real estate agent to replace our front door. My goodness what a terrible shocked I had, a guy (FRED) was due didn't show a week later he turns up practically breaking my front door down. When I opened the door he was aggressive, rude and tried to start an argument with me about not replacing the door and changing locks instead. He refused to do the job said he was too busy, so I told him to tell the agent not me and asked him to leave my property immediately. He then calls me back 4 days later to say his boss had told him he has ro replace the door, he said he was Not available for another 10 days as he is so busy. 30 minutes later I then get a call from my agent that this handy man guy has told them I'm being difficult and don't have time for him to do the job, I was so angry he had lied, so unbelievably unprofessional. I told the agent this guy is beyond a joke but just tell him to come when he is free but he needs to let me know so I can make changes if need be to ensure I'm home when he is free. At the end of the day I heard nothing, so I braved it to call this RUDE, AGGRESSIVE man who then says I'm going tomorrow because I've been told I have too, I replied but you didn't tell me now it's too late for me to make the necessary changes, he says just leave a key in your post box, again just so bloody rude and difficult. I spoke with a lady to make a complaint whether anything will happen who knows but this man, called FRED with a South African accent should not be allowed near people or their homes. If you use this company and a guy called FRED contacts you be very aware and do not allow him near you or your home. Absolutely disgusting service and lack of professionalism.

Their precise work and prompt service exceeded my expectations the first time I hired them and has ever since for all the odd jobs I've needed help with while renovating. I had to call on them many times during my renovations - electrical fittings, cupboard and kitchen installation, plumbing to make sure the job was done right - and one of the best things about Men Behaving Handy is their jack-of-all-trades approach. It's a real asset to them to have so many services offered, but more than that they finish the job effortlessly and are always happy to help. I highly recommend Men Behaving Handy!

Had these guys paint the gutters and eves on a house for me and it was painted in green instead of grey. I made it very clear the exact colour we wanted to go with for a colour scheme we had spent a lot of time to pick out for the place. After many calls to follow up I found it very hard to get hold of anyone and still trying to get the job done in the colour I asked for or get a refund.After numerous attempts to contact via email and phone there's been no follow ups or make good which is disappointing. Just want my money back now as I don't think too many people would accept such a wrong colour.

Good service all round, excellent job completed. Can highly recommend.

So booked was told he would be there soon he came said he was grabbing a few things and bailed after a hour and a half I had to call to find out he cancelled the job

Very disappointed with the service and cost for the handyman jobs. The guy did a good job but the charge was by far the most excessive I have ever paid and he was very very slow.
