In all fairness, I haven’t tested their hair stylists as I walked out before the service could be delivered. The receptionist was lovely too.I took my 8 year old son for a haircut, the hairdresser’s condescending tone towards me - even though speaking to my son - was appalling: shaking her head at me and being flustered at having to brush messy curly hair was a first for me. She warned me that it will likely clock over because of this, and that she might have to charge an extra $15 - on top of the $40 for a kid’s haircut.She said that it was a “full-on” re-style and that it wasn’t very smart to go to the hairdresser’s with unbrushed hair.I asked her if she had another brush so I could help so it wouldn’t take that long; after ignoring me twice she finally said she didn’t have a brush for me. At this point I felt more like a nuisance than a client and told her that she didn’t have to cut my son’s hair and I left.Went to “Who’s Next” Barbers in Whitfords, paid $27 for an awesome haircut; fabulous customer service and it turned out there’s no need to brush the hair as he was getting it shaved anyway.It’s a shame as the whole concept at Tommy Gun’s is pretty awesome, but most definitely won’t go back.

Booked in today to see the always vibrant and professional Beth. Once again she worked her magic and provided a quality service, good conversation and most of all a happy customer. See ya next time.I have been going to TG Joondalup for quite some time now, from the courtesy call to the drink offer to paying for my hair cut I have never felt like just a number. Awesome crew, awesome culture. Keep up the great work.

The last time I came here I got my hair cut by John. He gave me an awesome skin fade and I could tell he takes his time and cares for the customers when cutting their hair. I recommend John to anyone who needs a fade, buzz cut or anything that needs your hair to be lined up. 5/5.

I have recently had a significant surgery following a cancer diagnosis and chemo. I am still very much recovering and my life has changed significantly. My hair and beard were out of control. A symbol of a lack of control I had over my life at the moment. Beth cleaned me up trimmed and made the reflection in the mirror more like my old self. Giving me a bit of control back over my life. My Wife saw her husband again and the kids had their old Dad back. Thank you.

Really kind staff, the atmosphere was really happy and energetic and the barbers are talented and if you describe your cut the way you want you will be guaranteed to walk out with a smile. I am 13 now and have been going to tommy guns since I was 9 and have always been happy with what cut they have done because they never fail to please

Been using these guys for a few years for our three kids haircuts and yes they were a bit more expensive than other providers but always had great service and our kids enjoy the overall experience. Sadly not anymore. Raising your kids prices by 33% ($30 to $40) is a complete scandal especially when so many people are doing it tough. You’ve only raised the adults cuts from $40 to $45. In what world can you justify this to be fair? Seems like a little bit of price gouging going on. Otherwise why not raise all your prices evenly? Can we afford to pay this yes. But gotta say guys however dreamed up these kids rates is having a laugh but this customer is saying “not at our expense”.

I have been coming here for years now, and again before my wedding day a few weeks ago for one of Kristie's famous skin fades. As always she hit the nail right on the head with the perfect cut. Word around town is that skin fades are her jam, and I agree.The whole team at tommy guns joondalup is awesome and always have the best service. Highly recommend coming here!
