This place is a con. Prices for unpowered site goes up dramatically during Xmas holiday but the facilities are poorly managed. It was basically an open area except the resident cabins , everyone can park or camp anywhere you'd like. Good luck if someone blocked your entry! The toilet and shower was dirty and smelly, the door was unlocked all the time. They didn't even refill the soap once it run out!The boat ramp was on a big slope, it was really muddy and difficult to use. There has nothing to entertain the kids especially a unheated pool.No customer service at all.Would not go back again.

We just needed a park for an overnight stay and this place fit the bill. The park itself is not the flashiest place you'll ever see but the location and the friendly staff makes up for any shortfalls. The amenities are a little dated but extremely clean. So if my wife and I are in ever need of another overnight stay in Nowra we'd probably go back.

Stayed one night.Good things, massive camp area, has a poolBad things: way, way overpriced for what your expecting to get, especially for camping. Showers are in need of some CLR as they don't function properly. The amenities block Is in desperate need of some work that is way overdue. Distance from camp-site to the amenities block, pool, access to bins, pretty much anything was almost a hike. Tennis court needs repair.

Stayed here after our booking at another park was messed up. This was the only park we could get in (this alone should have sent alarm bells ringing!).Firstly, the pros: we found a nice shady site that had plenty of space. There is a pool. It's close to town for groceries/supplies. Grassed areas were mown and fairly well maintained.Cons: The cost - this site was 25% higher in cost than the previously booked place. I wouldn't complain about this if it was a better park but it wasn't! The amenities are outdated, with only half the showers in the mens block appearing to be in working order (there were building materials in 3 of the stalls), as others have said, the shower cubicles are small and have no shelves/seat. The owners have installed a shelf - a makeshift plank of wood that runs over the top of the cubicles which is useless for kids to use. The pool has no shade. This is not a holiday park - the vans are mainly permanent vans, whilst most of the owners were pleasant and welcoming there's plenty of drinking and I'm sure I smelt pot more than once - not the greatest environment for young kids. Our site backed onto the riverbank (river is about 5-6m below us) with lots of Lantana/trees (refer previous comments about shady site). This in itself isn't a con, but on multiple occasions I saw the grounds-keeper emptying Otto bins of lawn clippings down the face of the drop off. Upon closer inspection I saw that this practice had been going on for a very long time! The smell from this (and the urine from the trees where I suspect someone had been using them before we arrived) when it rained was a definite downer on the trip!Would definitely not recommend and would not return.

Nice park in a nice location, minutes from cbd and on the river. Firstly ,this is a big thankyou to Brett, who despite the wet conditions, was able to set us up on an access road, (with power), we only needed an overnighter as we had business in nowra the following morning, this was done at short notice and over the phone so coupled with a friendly reception and fair price was greatly appreciated. The rest of the park is fine, clean amenities, tennis court and pool, camp kitchen all on hand, pet friendly to boot, would be more than happy to come back or recommend

Needs renovations on the toilets and showers as they are showing their age. On a positive the managers are very helpful and do their best and the pool is definitely a relief in summer. Easy access to park but boat ramp is really only suitable to launch a very small tinnie at high tide

Pros - available powered site and pet friendly at short notice. Showers were clean. $40 for the night.Cons - old chewed dog toys and other rubbish on the grass site. The camp kitchen is small and the bench top was covered in bits of old food. The park has quite a lot of residents and makes the place look and feel like trash. Not a good holiday site for travellers.

The place is just okay, even for a 3-star camping site. The grass site we got had water leakage issue and had puddles next to the tap. We couldnt sit outside because of a smell, possible because of a dumping terminal opposite the site. Our power plug didnt work but thanks to a permanent residents help, we were able to sort it out. Also, the shower areas are really small and not enough hooks to hang your clothes. For 70 dollars a night peak season price, you can get much better sites if you book in time.

Good grassy area for pitching our tent but thats all the pros, unfortunately. The toilet and shower block desperately needs a rennovation. One of the reason we wanted to go here is the access to the river but it seems not fit for kids to play there.Shall we go back? Likely no.

This place advertised cabin's and site's, a cabin was booked and paid a deposit of $70 ,an email was sent saying that you have a non powered site . It's a con . Looking at all the reviews this place doesn't deserve a star. Anyone looking for accommodation, I wouldn't consider this place.
