A quiet retreat from Cowes on Philip island.Sleepy bay with few shops only Post Office,bottle shop and small store.The bay is a haven fie small craft such as sailing boats and powered pleasure craft.Also the ferry destination.

Rhyll Jetty
Rhyll is a nice little town with little pockets of surprises. This particular day an artist surprised me with this piece of artwork made from a tree destriyed in ghe recent stirm. Rhyll is great for long walks especially on the boardwalk through the mangrove...You might even, in fact you will see the wallabies, echidnas and birdlife are an awesome sight.

Lots of fishes here. Had a lot of fun fishing.. lights also available at night for night fishing.Clean toilets are available and enough parking area. Very close to a tackle shop as well.

We went on a low tide so not ideal but there are still beautiful views. Take the time to read the memorial to the left and also the carved tree stump. Well worth the stop and stroll.

Lovely place with not much crowd . Enjoyed watching plenty of Pelicans and couple of huge Sting rays . Also got to see how caught fish are cleaned.

Beautiful place, Good for fishing when you get bites. Very less weed there. Very well maintained and good crowd there. Highly recommed to visit this place when you get to phillip island.

Was very windy when we visited. Probably a nice and quiet place to chill out or go for a short walk on a less windy day. Benches available to picnic on. There's a cool nautical carving made to the base of an old tree that got damaged which could make for a nice photo opportunity but unless you're here to do some kind of water activity or stay for a picnic or a walk, probably don't need to be included in your Phillip Island itenerary.
