Yunta Rest Area

Nice place to stop we always stop there when going to broken Hill

Always a great rest stop

Over night or quick stop for lunch worth the visit with a hotel across the road.

Great for an overnight stop.

Awesome place to stop over for the night with our caravan. The pub across the road starts dinner at 6pm but we went down to the petrol station before then for a feed and the food was well priced and nice there also. Post office is next door which was very convenient! Great rest area, clean facilities. Good stop for a cuppa between Broken Hill and Adelaide.

The Yunta Centenary Park is a 24hour free camp. It's a quiet camp right next to the little town. There is a toilet block with water and basic necessities. There is a covered rest area with a donation area. A covered community board area with several boards. A post office right next to the covered seating. A free pool you can use and keys can be collected either at the pub, petrol station or post office whichever is open. A Royal flying Doctors clinic and a huge desalination tank that makes this soft clanging sound every 5 seconds. Right next to the free camp is the Railroad tracks for the freight trains that pass by several times a day.Yubta is the last fuel stop until you reach Broken Hill and they have the cheapest fuel available. Due to COVID local police door knock and ask the campers how long they are staying, how many are travelling and where they are heading. Thank you Yunta for the free camp you have generously provided, we are extremely thankful. Generators allowed.

One good spot to stop and relax

This is a nice area to take a break when driving to and from Broken Hill. You can let the kids run around and burn some calories before getting in the car for a long drive.There are trees for shade and clean toilets too.It can be a bit dry and dusty but that is how Yunta is.

Good place for the night, opposite the pub not far from the BP servo, Next to the telecentre. Toilets and and covered seating if it is needed.
