BLOC is a great company that revolves around safety and quality of work!!

We had a small favour to ask Bloc with regard to information and materials at our new apartment. Alistair responded immediately and personally delivered everything we requested. I can't fault their service.

The gentleman (PM) from BLOC was not professional, unfriendly and was agitated as soon as he realised I appointed an independent Building Inspector before accepting the possession of property. I won’t forget the words “i was advised not to say or suggest if the element of the brand new property fall into body corporate possessions which are categorically a common wall and retaining wall inside the garage that is going to directly impact the property” it was a lame bluff. There are many other statements I won’t forget. It was worst experience of my property settlement.

We bought a unit back in 2014 that was built by Bloc. Ever since then we have been dealing with really bad condensation throughout the unit and mould in the bathroom. Despite our best efforts to wipe bathroom walls and windows down every single day it is still not sufficient, as a result we are left with mould all over the bathroom as well as around the windows. We engaged Bloc in the first 12 months and what looked like a proactive approach to our issues is now evident that it was only stalling tactics. Every time they came out they would do tests then wait a few weeks and continue this charade until the outside temperatures were warm enough for condensation to not be present and as a result stall for another year. I am a very understanding and patient person - where I have given them numerous opportunities to rectify these issues, other landlords have taken legal action and/or sold their property. I would highly suggest steering away from this company no matter enticing it may be to assume this is a once off issue. They will leave you high and dry

Moved into the new unit in 2018, everything was ok except no tap in the garden when in the inclusion list said yes there will be one. In 2020, one of the bedroom start leaking from the ceiling, tried to contact strata and BLOC in many times, BLOC sent different maintenance men in every time (has their names and phone number, email addresses in record). Up until now May 2023, the issue still not being resolved, and they are still coming to inspect. Don't recommend to buy any property from them.
