Such a helpful and friendly person who told us all about the area and the wetland in particular. Lots to learn in the visitor centre and lovely displays.

What a brilliant location for an information centre. Loved the boardwalk and the information about the crocodile sightings in the wetlands. Wonderful team, full of information and fun. I'll definitely be back and stay longer so I can visit the rest of the places to see in and around Ingham.

One of the best information centres I’ve been to! The ladies were so helpful! Also the interactive exhibit about the TYTO Wetlands was so engaging for our young kids!We needed up staying a week in Hinchinbrook Shire because of the visitor centre. We stayed at the TYTO self contained camping area ($10 per night), stayed in Lucinda the fishing village Caravan park for a few nights, then over to Wallaman Falls (tallest single drop waterfall in Australia) and the Broadwater camping area.

Helpful staff, info for nearby and the region. Clean toilets and a potable water tap outside. It's right off the highway and the wetland is a great place to stretch your legs whilts spotting birds. They sell turtle food for a dollar.
