I can't believe that Asian female staff works at the counter of this restaurant! I went to this restaurant to have lunch with my family, and I saw a sign to wait at the entrance and kept waiting in front, but the female employee didn't even look at us to see if she was busy. As soon as a western couple came in about 5 minutes later, the employee greeted them kindly and took their order. I complained to her and she made her apology.I ordered food and gave cash, $104 - $84 = $20.She couldn't calculate and she called two other employees to discuss it and she gave me $16?!?I told her to give me 20 bucks and she got upset. There was no apology!Even while I was eating, she didn't serve me my drinks. When I asked her, she didn't even remember, and she didn't even apologize again. Everyone makes a mistake or two at work. It can't be helped. However, the attitude of not apologizing even after making a mistake is a very bad behavior and makes customers uncomfortable. I went to eat in a good mood, but I only brought unpleasant feelings from this restaurant.

It was a really good place where the food worth the price! We orderdd Classic Ramen, Wagyu beef and green tea. Staff specifically Juan was pretty kind person and always oriented service, he never hesitate to help us with some doubts. Thank you so much to Juan.This is a place to come again.

What's wrong with the kitchen? Never thought motto motto served this to their loyalty customer. Last time went to the garden city brunch already disappointed with the salty teriyaki chicken, nearly taste like the cogee's rice and the too soft ramen. Never know things could be even worsted. Will the staff cook their own staff meal like that?

Motto Motto chermside has spacious seating, ambient lightings, friendly staff, food servings are great. I got the Black garlic ramen and it taste really great, wifey has karage chicken curry and smells and taste really great as well.Affordable!With COVID precautions in place!

Charlie the young fella who served us was very knowledgeable on the menu, really easy to communicate with and it was really refreshing to see a young kid who obviously takes pride in his job. That kid will go places, has a great friendly attitudeNow for the food !!!!!11/10 Fresh, tasty quality food that is hard to find these days.Best ramen and Japanese I have had in Australia

Had few mediocre meals from here, but this was just awful.I ordered Chicken Karaage Curry with Onsen, and my wife ordered Black Ramen with Chicken Karaage.My wife’s ramen arrived with no chicken, clearly the wrong broth, and the noodles were just a stuck together mess.My curry arrived with no curry sauce, and what was basically a raw egg. I know what Onsen is meant to be, and this wasn’t it.Unfortunately we’ve never had a great experience here from the 3-4 times we’ve used them, but as they are the only Japanese restaurant that deliver, we have given them the benefit of the doubt, despite how expensive they are and the quality.This is the last time we order from Motto Motto Chermside.

It went from great to bad.When they started they had great meals for reasonable prices. Over time meals got smaller and smaller while prices went up.Then they changed the rewards system and now instead of a free meal after a certain amount of points you will get only a discount.Promotional emails are full of dark patterns. “$1 fresh ice tea” is the subject of the email and a big title inside. Only to mention with a smaller font that you need to buy a bowl to get it.Such a shame.

Had the vegan ramen and it was decent! Could have been hotter and the noodles were a little clumped together. I’ve had better vegan ramen but overall this was pretty good!

Don't expect a large portion size. I've been coming here since it opened and firsthand witnessed the bowl size reduce 3 times now along with the increase in price. Can't say you get your bang for your buck anymore.The taste of the food is good quality which is why I rated the food 4 stars. We had 4 meals ordered. The 1st meal came out and it was finished before any of the other meals came out. The 4th meal arrived after the 2nd and 3rd were finished. Service was pleasant at the checkout though timing of the meals was poor. So I gave a rating of 2 for service.Ive added some pics to give you an idea of the bowl size.
