Archer Creek Rest Area
Great 2 night area creek runs down behind the park nice for after noon swim it's up near the road but you don't notice it the toilets are clean the area is all nice and clean plenty of shade on 1 side The other is all open plenty of sun to charge using solar or you could even run your genni through the day if you need to as some people did you couldn't even hear the genni's running the only thing is fire wood is pretty thin around the area I would either buy a bag or start looking for it at least 10km before the stop in either direction . It's a top little spot .And all with in good distance of some nice water falls and water systems

This time of year it is perfect spot to stay over. Not many cars, as old retired travellers are gone as it’s too hot for them. Beautiful Creek to chill. Couple of toilets. ability to have acampfire

Lovely peaceful camp with access to the creek. Toilets were fine and rubbish bins emptied.

Beautiful clear water for swimming and drinking. Might have to search for wood for camp fire. Great camping with heaps of shade and toilets. There are markets there first Sunday of each month.

One of the best free rest area. Not too busy. The surrounding is clean. Basic facilities like toilet,picnic table and rubbish bin is available. Good spot to spend a night and continue journey on hot spring and waterfalls nearby

This is our 2nd time staying here, hardly hear any traffic noise after dark.The creek is fantastic for a dip after a day of driving.It can get busy at times, try getting there early for good spots to park up.

It's a OK overnighter, has grass, flushing toilet with loo paper, nice river. The down side is the traffic noise, overnight was OK but before dawn it starts, & if that doesn't wake you the rooster will. No good if you want to sleep in.

Ok this camp-site is free...only one toilet block for fems and males..no shower...it has a beautiful creek at the back of the camp full flowing crisp water and has a market on a Sunday once a month...and best of all is only a 10 min drive to the Innot Hot Springs River...we go later at night not many people later in the evening ! ...best night sleep ever...
