I was able to purchase the item of furniture that I wanted at a reasonable price from the 'Harvey Norman ',store at the Orange home-makers centre. I found the staff to be polite and friendly, on top of that they went above and beyond the call of duty, by also coming around to my home and moving the item of furniture into my house for me. I would have no hesitation in recommending shopping at this venue to anyone.

If housewares and furniture shopping is your goal then try Harvey Norman, Fantastic Furniture, Eureka Furniture, Early Settler and Spotlight are all located here. If youve already got the couch sorted but need new wipers try Supercheap Auto or Autobarn. For all your weekend activities theres BCF or if your more into something techy let Jaycar sort you out.You can always have a break from shopping though and grab a quick bite and a drink from The Orange Pie Company.Public toilets are located down the opposite end from Harvey Norman before you cross over to Fantastic Furniture.

Great area but they need to change security. The security driver cut across the car park and almost run into our car he then went into Harvey Norman just to have a look around we saw him in there and not once apologised for nearly slamming into our car. Otherwise a good spot for shops

Firstly, I wouldn't call this a shopping mall, or maul as some pronounce it. A mall would have seperate shops under one roof and here they aren't, so I'd call it a shopping centre. It's on the fringe of town, loads of parking and so few people about that it's a wonder they all stay in business. The lack of crowds is the best thing about the whole place.

I visit almost every time I go to Orange. So many great shops in one place. My most recent visit there was to BCF. Their knowledgeable, friendly staff made my experience a pleasure and I got some great advice which helped me make a much better, and cheaper purchase than I had originally thought I needed.

The Orange Homemaker Centre has 9 or 10 standard retail shops and a massive car park. I needed to visit the Jaycar store which I found to be well stocked and well presented. I also got a good coffee from the Orange Pie Company cafe, however I probably will not visit again as it is difficult (impossible?) to get to the Homemaker Centre by public transport from the main town of Orange. It would be nice to get a full cup of Coffee... the tide seems to be out a lot... the pastries are yummy but you pay for them... 7.50 for a sausage roll
