Have changed my opinion about this company to a more positive one, since despite a bad experience of a lift not being fixed in a reasonable time, the manager rang me personally the next day after learning about the delay and immediately sent a technician to fix the problem. So Thanks for your professionalism and caring Schindler!

The lift in our apartment has been doing a hard stop ( which feels like dropping) for over 5 months. It's very scary and when it happens the lift gets stuck on level 1 for around 20 seconds and then moves again. It started when I was pregnant and now we have a newborn and I'm scared to take her anywhere and have major anxiety about the lift. We also have to warn guests about it.You have sent tech's" out but the issue is continuing. Definitely wouldn't recommend this company and they will definitely be liable if some one gets hurt ( whether physically or mentally -such as an anxiety attack because of this). It's horrible watching my newborn bounce a bit in her bassinet on the pram when it happens and hearing her cry as I get a bit scared."

I love Schindler Lifts. I ride them all day, every day. I feel very safe in them. I would exclusively ride in Schindler Lifts if I could, but unfortunately they don’t have a monopoly on the Australian lift market (yet! ;)). For now I will just learn to control my anxiety using any other type of lift, and enjoy the calm that comes only in a Schindler lift. Also, I personally love how much Schindler lifts cares about greyhounds. They are my favourite dog.

What a subpar service from Schindler, both lifts broke down a few months ago and they were not able to fix them within reasonable period of time, lift jolting and yet they were confident that it was 'safe' lol. One lift recently broke down again and surely took them a few weeks to fix the problem. Emergency phone is still not working. Pretty sure they've broken a few clauses in the contract but unfortunately we have strata which so far has been slow to respond as well. Mark Ryan from Schindler, come on you can do better than this?

Unprofessional driver, doesn’t know how to drive almost caused multiple accidents. Cut us off no blinker last minute, break checking and stopping in the middle of the road multiple times.CP86PO is the number plate of the dangerous driver who not only almost put my family in an accident then proceeded to try and attempt to put my family into an accident.

We are the owner of a strata managing building, both our Liftkey suddenly do not work at the same time. And we contacted our strata, and also Schindler customer service. No one can resolve our issue, and customer service said they only explain things to Strata, and refused talking to the owners. Our strata provide us with the quote from Schindler to buy 10 new access keys instead. As far as I know, one of our neighbour/owner purchased an additional card recently. I do not understand why Schindler provides this totally different solution. And this is just a common simple issue- CARD REPLACEMENT. No need for any bulk new purchases,10 x Schindler access system cards????Can you please help to resolve this issue? Can you please forward to the department taking care of this? Schindler should have all the programming in records and there is no need to carry out any unnecessary programming.I am also very curious why both our cards suddenly do not work properly at the same time, I may doubt they are blocked at your end.We do have difficulty accessing our building and car park without the Liftkey and we do have young children who struggle to climb stairs to the top levels.

To me, understanding Schindler as a company has been incredibly uplifting. In the past, I'd take steps to avoid getting the lift, and just found them to be terrifying on so many levels. However, Schindler has shown me through their incredible machines that elevators can be just as uplifting as stairs. I would even go as far to say they are one-upping them on many levels. Thank you Schindler, you've helped me get on top of my fears.

Schindler lifts Australia are amazing, they get me up early every morning and gently get me down late every night, sometimes even a cheeky up and down during the day. I've not once been in a situation where I needed to contact them but I'm certain if I did they'd be more than happy to help so I can get up and down again as soon as possible.

The building I live in has had a lift regularly breaking down. Technicians were incapable of working out there was an ongoing problem for months. Finally they did. Apparently it's the lift's electronic control unit. Despite that the building, and hence the lift, is less than 10 years old, Schindler have to build by hand a new ECU. There are no ECUs anywhere in the world. So for around 2 months pensioners, pregnant women and families have to walk up and down stairs. Pathetic service.

I live in an apartment block with 12 levels, 6 units on each level. Plus we have 3 underground parking areas that access this 1 lift daily. I have lived in this complex for 3 years & the lift has been out 5 times since I’ve lived here. On one of those occasions it was out for 4 days while waiting on parts. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Firstly, I cannot believe this DYLDAM BUILT building was approved with 1 lift servicing all these residents. Secondly Schindler should compensate every resident that lives here for the inconvenience they have caused each one of us. I come home from caring for my elderly mother exhausted and the last thing I want to do is walk up 160 stairs to get to my apartment and I will also like to add that sometimes I have had groceries to carry up as well. I feel sorry for the residents that live above me, are elderly or have children that they have to carry up. I’m taking this matter to the department of fair trading.
