First time back in several years and sadly have to say the last. Crinkle cut chips used in the loaded fries entree looks cheap and tasted even cheaper! Ran out of chicken for sizzling plate at 7pm.

We had dinner at Serrano’s for the first time since change of ownership some time ago. We had the best experience you could hope for. The staff were amazing! Friendly, helpful and smiling. The food was hot and fresh and they had all the favourites PLUS a page of vegetarian and vegan options too, it was lovely as a vegetarian to have a decent range to choose from. The atmosphere is perfect for a date night or dinner out with a group of friends. I would highly recommend you have dinner here!

This place is honestly great. If you want authentic home style, reasonably priced Mexican in a lovely little restaurant then go here!So good. Shame we only just discovered this place now. Love it!

We hadn’t been to Serrano’s for years and have been meaning to go for ages and finally got there. We won’t wait so long next time! The food was beautifully flavoured and the portion sizes were spot on. The deep fried steak was cooked to perfection and the chimichangas were awesome. The chorizo entree was so tasty and the my hubby devoured the banana chimichanga for dessert. For a more authentic Mexican dining experience this is the place to go.

Went here with a friend and her kid, going off previous reviews we had high hopes. Wasn’t too busy but it still took 20 minutes for them to take our order.Got the Double Fried Wings (photo) as an entree as we were starving. Pretty crispy as you would expect from being double fried but a little lacking in sauce and at $15 for 6 it wasn’t great value :(Didn’t take us long to demolish the entree but it took an hour (maybe a little more) from when we arrived and finally got our mains! We ended up having to get take away containers cause it had gotten way too late.Good presentation but the serving portions could have been more generous and the meals were pretty average too.Lovely people but I probably wouldn’t visit again or recommend it to friends.

the staff are absolutely lovely and so tending to everyone’s meals and experience while dining, the food has always been amazing. been going to this restaurant for years and i’ve never had a single complaint!

Tasty food but offensively tiny serving for the price. This was $24.50 ($2.50 extra for vegan cheese), with a side of the sauce and guacamole. Be forewarned.
