I did the two day long range course with Jay at Majura Range in Canberra. A really well structured course. Jay has not only the experience, but the ability to articulate complex or counter-intuitive concepts clearly. Great drills to fine tune the fundamentals.I picked up new skills and improved old ones. Best of all was hitting 4 clays at 1

As a Cert4 qualified trainer I was very impressed with the structure and content of this course.The course followed a logical structure and was relevant to the required outcomes and expectations.Both trainers were absolute subject matter experts and extremely helpful.I would strongly suggest if you have any interest in precision shooting enroll for this course, you WILL NOT regret it

Highly recommend this course. I found Jay to have a great depth of knowledge and experience when it comes to long range shooting, with the detail presented more than helpful.By then end of this course we were shooting out to 840 meters, all dead on target using the fundamentals taught over the 2 day period.Really enjoyed myself. Great bunch of guys, BBQ and beer at end of course.. What more can you ask for.Craig

I attended the LRS course offered by OA; this course by in far was the best investment (as a beginner / intermediate shooter) I have made to improve my shooting. More experienced shooters seem to have similar feedback to myself.Jay and his team was very thorough in ensuring that everyone was grounded in sound theory before we went out in the range and put that theory to practice. Every recommendation, theory and technique was demonstrated by the team and guided through for each shooter.OA ensured that everyone was brought along the journey and appropriate pace was held for each shooters abilities (particularly grateful as a new shooter). When I ran into some issues with my scope, the whole OA team stayed back to help rectify the problem and ensure all the training was covered by myself; sacrificing their own personal time.I highly recommend this for shooters at any level and even to reach out to OA to guide your investment in gear and training.

Jay made everything about the course easy and attainable for everyone. A true professional of his trade, and has shared the knowledge he has collected over years of practice and research with myself and the class. I'm now a more confident and learned person in this field because of his hard work. Cheers Jay!

By attending you are accessing years of experience & knowledge delivered in a highly practical format. 2 days here will save you immeasurable ammo, time & frustration trying to obtain this knowledge the hard way. Plus Jay & his team are cool, easy going guys who are dedicated to improving your skills and performance in LR shooting.

Experienced and knowledgeable instructors. Excellent format and practical work on the range. From precision application to hunting as-well, it’s all valuable. Will honestly attend another as a refresher in the future.

Excellent course in every aspect.Drove 10 hours to attend this course and would do it again. My aim was to learn the basics of understanding my rifle system. I am beginner in the long range shooting discipline and wanted a course to introduce me to the fundamentals in becoming a better shooter. It definitely exceded my expectations.
