I don’t normally post reviews, but on this occasion I feel moved to do so.Recently purchased a Volkswagen Tourareg from Mike Raleigh Motors. I was surprised when I compared the potential purchase with city dealers and found the price to be spot on.I was impressed with the delivery experience, with all aspects being comprehensively explained by David.I am super impressed with the Tourareg which tows our caravan like a breeze. I have had some issues with the navigation system, but was impressed when David offered to call around and explain it.Love the vehicle and love the service.

WARNING TO ALL BUYERS!!!!See below the email I sent them:Dear Mike Raleigh Motors,Please see attached purchase contract between ourselves and Dollar wholesale motors at Cheltenham, The vehicle purchase displays your stickers on the vehicle and at time we purchased did not have servicing history or owner’s manual. We are attempting after just have the vehicle serviced at Midas Brighton to ascertain the vehicles servicing history and information regarding the timing belt. We placed our Isuzu MUX with this dealer for a 60,000 service.The book in process was efficient, the service was first class and on pick up we were advised that they had noticed an oil leak from a front seal which was covered under the Isuzu warranty.As were were travelling through Pt Lincoln time was of the essence to us to have it fixed.The workshop organised a new part to be flown the next day and made time to do the repair that same day.How good is that.Most impressed.

Typical sellers, once the car is sold and paid off the game changes.The attitude changes big time as if they are now doing favour to you by selling there car.Asked them to use credit card to make payment and they go it will be extra $100, which I understand the extra charges but then they advertised the car with number plates which had enough registration to drive to vic roads but when I received the car there was no plates and upon asking, I was answered my boss asked me to do so n then I asked why? Then never got a answer back.I had to pay an extra $45 just to drive the car from depot to Vic roads which they should be liable to but now they don't know me!

Worst experience with a car dealer. Over-promised and under-delivered. Stay away from salesman named Wes. Quoted me an amount to transport car to QLD but days before settlement an extra $100 was added on. Told me that it would take 7 business days for car to be delivered. I work FIFO so I strategically planned to be in QLD for when car arrives. I even stayed an extra week to wait for car to arrive. It took a month for the car to arrive in QLD. I had to return to work. It has now been 2 months and I still have not driven the car. There was very little contact from Wes. I had to do all the following up regarding faults that needed to be taken care of with the car. He only made an effort to contact me regarding money. The manager was nice enough to try and rectify Wes’ poor service but the damage was done and delivery could not be changed. I’m now having to pay extra storage fee to keep my car at the transport depot until I return to QLD to pick it up.

My family have bought our last two vehicles from Mike Raleigh Motors and have been completely happy with both their sales approach and their after sales service. We did not feel pressured to make the purchase decision and the sales team were knowledgeable and informative. The after sales service has also fulfilled and exceeded our expectations. The service team take time to ask about the driving experience and if we have noticed any issues, if they notice work required they follow up and ensure we are happy to proceed with it. We will certainly be back.
