Chapel Hill Winery Tasting Room

Expect a detailed education on their wines. Loved their PORT the most! Lovely staff. Wines are different and varied. The Chapel itself is pretty with a very old window (270 years old), that originated from Scotland. Would be a lovely venue for an event or special occasion. There are so many excellent wineries in the area. This is a nice one to visit.

This winery set in the McLaren Vale region has a beautiful look to it and the aroma of current wine being made filled the air as we arrived.Wine - the wine was good and we have experienced this wine before attending here so it was good to see the location of it's origin. The 10yr Tawny is a definite must. Had to purchase a bottle before leaving. It appeared to be quite popular amongst the group as well.Service - I can't quite give this a top rating as the person delivering the background of the wines did not appear too passionate about it. It felt quite superficial and rushed. Sadly this contributed to a single purchase here only.Location - very clean and welcoming and the architecture was reminiscent of the name - Chapel Hill.

An amazing experience in a beautiful setting!I had the pleasure of attending a private tasting & tour of the Chapel Hill Winery, built around the original Methodist Church established in 1854.After meeting Michael Fragos the Chief Wine Maker who has spent a passionate 15 years in developing their incredible wines, I have a new respect for the Brand..... Chapel Hill.Listening to Michael speak, it is clear he is dedicated to creating fine wine and committed to sustainability.The process involved ensures the wine is Vegan friendly catering to an ever growing demand.Dylan, an Assistant Wine Maker was very informative, showing me the various techniques that are used.I highly recommend you visit this Winery in McClaren Vale and delight in the tastings on offer.... You will be pleasantly surprised!Wheelchair access ♿ and parking is available, including public amenities.

A wonderful way to end the afternoon of wine tasting, the setting was nothing short of spectacular. The buildings were stunning inside and out. The wine was delicious also, currently they're doing a nuance tasting allowing you to compare two similar wines side by side.

I have a soft spot for this winery, so to come back after 8 years I was excited to see some new upgrades and see this beautiful chapel. The lady that served us was only on the job for a month but was a consummate professional. They offer a wine tasting of 7 for $10, but this is waived if you purchase a bottle of wine. There’s also. Premium wine tasting for $20.The top picks in my opinion are the Zinfandel, MV Shiraz and Chardonnay. However I was happy to find that they still had some of “The Vicar” their premium offering!

Brought my friends here for a tour of McLaren Vale winery farms. The customer service was perfect and the team were very nice and welcoming. We couldn't come on time due to unexpected delays but they were still attentive and warm to us. We had a great experience here.Five stars is not enough!

Nice tasting. Good selection of great wines

Excellent tasting experience. We had the Icon tasting at $20 pp. Good value for the quality of wines. We also liked the format… all wines poured at once for comparison, small cheese platter and knowledgeable staff. Hard to choose our favorite wine.
