I love coming here. I would give it 5 stars but I am unable to sit outside due to the number of wasps outside flying on to your food and drinks. I am allergic to them, I had to sit inside

Have come here a few times now. The macarons are amazing and good flavour range. Ordered delivery once, the berry danish was fresh but had a bit too much custard/cream. The delivery coffee came with a little tab in the sipping hole which I’ve never seen before. It stopped it from spilling anywhere so that’s a great add :)

Great location on Whitehorse Road, Balwyn. Staff were all friendly and helpful deciding on what cake to eat. There is such a variety of cakes and savory, makes it impossible to decide as so much variety. If your looking for a cake for a special occasion there are such varieties to choose from. Prices may be a little expensive but one bite, then it's worth the price. Great coffee and great table service. Saw many locals having coffee and cake or if you want toasted sandwiches as well. Cappuccino was beautiful and such a variety of coffees and teas to choose from. Great fir a catch up with friends and such a great environment. Been to a few different Laurents, but this is my favourite one. Heaps os space to move around. Can't wait fir my next cake and coffee!!

We know that it’s hard to get staff on a public holiday. We know the cakes are good (except for huge amount of greenery in the salad roll) I’ve never seen such chaos, felt like helping, so cleared our table. They need someone to fix these issues as we will not be going back.Please fix the back door, as it wouldn’t close….very cold to sit anywhere near there. Very poor for such a well respected “chain”, not personal any more.

None of the staffs smiles and the girl at the counter looked like she was forced to work here. Almond croissant was pretty good, but coffee was sort of overpowered by the milk, can barely taste any coffee

Decent mid range bakery, has a variety of cakes and mini desserts. The almond croissant was a 3.8/5, a lil dry after it got heated up and around 5$.

Someone came late and jump in the queue. And got served first, which made me feel very uncomfortable.When I pointed out, the staff told me since she is the only one working now. Excuse me? Is this a good excuse to serve people based on their nationality?

Always enjoy visiting Laurent for either a sweet pastry or a savoury lunch dish. They have so much to choose from.We had the tuna & tomato focaccia, salmon and lettuce rye sandwich and salmon and egg croissant. All three sandwiches were delicious. For sweets we had a hot cross bun and pistachio macron. I love Laurent hot cross buns, they are great both fresh and toasted. We also had some coffees which were smooth and yum.This location also has a lovely outdoor seating area for the warmer months.

This was a great place! There were many sweet and savoury options to choose from which was great! The croissants were light and airy and looked stunning and the sandwich/baguette was delicious!The staff were kind and the drinks were good as well. One thing I would say - a lady cut in front of us while waiting in the queue. I'm not sure if she didn't realise we were in the queue or she was just being rude but overall it was fine.
