The Garden Tearooms & Cottage Nursery

Relaxing place to have tea and scones and the garden is so pretty. They are closed from tomorrow until late February next year if I remember correctly. They have a range of hot/cold drinks, cakes/desserts and some hot food too. Wear some insect repellent if you sit outside as there’s quite a few March flies around and other bugs as it’s in the hills

Very welcoming, friendly service, Food was great and plentiful. Beautiful setting. Will come back again and would definitely recommend it.

Thankyou for ruining my Sunday!!!!!!!My husband and I decided to visit your establishment today for a Devonshire Tea.Checked your website as to opening/closing times, and to confirm you were open. Well after a very long drive, we saw that the gates were closed, even though your website stipulated you were open for business and closed at 3.30.Well, may I suggest you take the time to update your website, for God’s sake! How selfish one can be....We will never visit your Cafe, because of your selfishness to take the time to do the right thing by your either new or old customers. I would have thought that would have been your first priority and the best of business ethics. Lift your game.......Signed: never will be a customer!

It appears to of shut down, never open.As you use to be open on other days inc Saturday to tell me I should ring first as you might be open isn't good enough. As I live close by and pass it everyday have only seen it open on a rare occasion and wasn't open this Sunday. Passing traffic is not going to use social media of phone. If you are now only open on Sundays, then I will next time come in but cannot see how your business will last if that is the case.

Most disappointing experience today! Coffee tasted like dishwater - twice!!!!!The zuchini and bacon slice was very nice and so was the salad until I poured on the so-called vinaigrette only to find my food soaked in sugar!Dont think I will be going here again!

Great food and friendly staff. Only suggestion to offer is that the carparking is too constricted for larger 4x4 cars- best park on main road or take a smaller car when visiting.

This place looked very welcoming and it was. Food was huge and luckily we went halves. Coffee was delicious, staff more than accomodating, views were spectacular and would come again for sure.

Lovely home style cooking, beautiful setting, friendly helpful staff. A lovely experience. Good value. Cakes and pastries home made and delicious
