Like all three lakes, there is a buildup of dead seagrass around the shoreline and with southerly winds the smell is bad. Not the case today, took a 20 min. return walk east (grassed area) and admired the many seabirds - swans, ducks, egrets, shags sunning their wings, & pelicans.Another walk is west of the barbecue area, paved for more than a km, used by many for their daily exercise. Parking and toilets are near the free gas barbecues.
