Mamoes Country Cottage alpaca Farmstay B&B & Alpaca Event Hire

Lovely little spot for an escape away from the city right near Moore river, which is great and its so close. The friendly Alpacas roam freely across the site - if you feed them Mulberry leaves they will mob you for it. The owner is very friendly and helpful.The kids absolutely loved it. If you have allergies in springtime the cottage has bottlebrush all around it so keep that in mind.

We stayed for 2 nights and loved every minute of it. The cottage is very cute and it has all essentials we needed. It also has all sorts of alpaca things - photos, cushions, tea towels, sculptures - so pretty! We enjoyed feeding and playing with alpacas. They are funny and gentle. There are also chickens on the property and a variety of beautiful native birds. Nikki (the host) left 2 bright torches at the cottage and we went for a walk in the dark to look at the fairy house and fairy lights around the large garden. Magical property, special stay. Absolutely amazing, kid-friendly farmstay. The alpacas are extremely friendly and fun to be around with (as with all animals, do treat them with care and don’t overly agitate them). Lots of outdoor play options, gas flat plate bbq pit available, decent location for some stargazing. Very friendly owners.For city dwellers, do note that the location is really remote and the living conditions relatively spartan. It is indeed a good place to “disconnect” from city life (though wifi, netflix and YouTube are available if you need to placate the kid/s while you shower).Do bring enough drinks and supplies - otherwise you would have to rely on the cafe 5 mins away that serves a limited breakfast and lunch… or having to drive 20+ mins to Two Rocks or Yanchep to find supermarkets or restaurants (and remember to check their opening hours).Disclaimer: the video is taken at check-out.

Best money ever spent. Everybody needs wedding alpacas. They almost stole the limelight from us too. Dealing with them was easy, very straight forward and they were punctual. Alpacas came with bow ties and feed, I mean, do I really need to sell anyone the wedding alpaca idea? But really, thank you for bringing them over and for being such a pleasure to work with. I look forward to my next event/excuse to have alpacas around.

We loved our overnight stay. Nikki and Indi were so lovely. Nice to walk around the property feeding and patting the Alpacas. Cabin was well stocked and very clean. Special little place to visit

Compared to the Mercure hotel in Perth 100% better, clean more room, all the amenities you need, yes even a tea towel, small but meaningful things that make a stay memorable. A big thank you to Nicky

Thanks to Nikki our school holiday farm stay was a big success. The alpacas are super friendly, we could cuddle a few and got some great selfies! While we were there the alpacas got hair cuts so they went from super fluffy to very skinny overnight but they were still happy to be fed as many mulberry leaves that we could find. The accommodation had everything we needed and even came with free bacon and fresh eggs from the free range chooks. I'd say this is a good place to stay for any age but little kids will really appreciate the outdoor play kitchen, huge fairy garden and sandpit. My kids still loved it and we used the torches we had in our accommodation to go on a night tour of the farm to have a different perspective on the place. If you're kids can't break away from technology or you get some unlucky weather then there's Netflix available as well but hopefully you don't need it as there's plenty to do.

We really loved staying at Mamoes. The cottage was well equipped and such a tranquil setting. The Alpacas were an absolute treat. They were really friendly and provided hours of enjoyment and much amusement for all of us. Nikki was a lovely, friendly and gracious host. We can't wait to come back in November. I highly recommend Mamoes for kids and parents who love animals and want an up close experience with the adorable Alpacas. We miss Mix, Sparkle, Rosie and Poppy already.

A lovely peaceful place to relax. The Alpacas are so soft and friendly. The hosts are very welcoming and the accommodation is super clean and comfortable.
