Quite a big free camp site with good toilet facilities. The Shoalhaven River is next to it for a swim in summer ☀️.

As far as road side stops go this is one of the best. Camping, basic public amenities, beautiful stream, camp fires permitted. This is an awesome camp spot. The traffic going past has not been a problem. Also has nice spots only 4x4 can get to. You can also access the river from the other side of the bridge if you have a 4x4.

Camped one night with our van. We swam and fished. It Was very busy with vans, campers and people just stopping for the restrooms. Its very convenient stop with easy access . I totally enjoyed our stopover

This is a stunningly gorgeous and simple, free campground with a maximum 72 hour stopover. There is no running water here, bring your own, and there is one female and one make drop toilet (hold your breath, and poop fast!). It's very basic amenities wise.... But it's absolutely beautiful.

A beautiful ruggered river side rest stop shade by large gumtrees with long drop toilet. Camping is allowed for 72hours. You need to bring your own drinking water. Firewood may be available. Access to a fast flowing river with swimming areas with sand and rock areas. A wonderful place to explore but be careful of fast moving waters and submerged obstacles.

Beautiful spot on the edge of the Shoalhaven River. Two Drop Toilets. No running water. Take your own water. Max 72 hours stay. Suitable for all sizes of tents, motorhomes, campervans, caravans, camper trailers, etc. 4WD Only Access to the lower riverbanks, or by foot. Upper level accessible by all vehicles.

72 hour maximum stay. BBQ facilities, new toilet block. River for swimming. Large area to park your vehicle. The road is close by but not too noisy in general. Bins provided too.

It's very close to the little town of BRAIDWOOD, just 12 kms West. It has a little toilet block and a pretty little river running right by the camping area. There's also a large bridge that takes the road over the river. The traffic stops at night, so no noise to wake you, only the birds early in the morning. There are flat areas amoungst the uneven spaces but you may need a little ramp to level your caravan/motorhome. There are some large trees but don't camp right under the large branches because you just never know when they might fall. Enjoy your stay, we did ours.
