Miss Renee Simone

We were lucky enough to have Miss Renee Simone perform at our wedding - we are now all obsessed with her!She transitioned our big day from the more formal aisle song (performing a perfect Elton cover), to our fun first dance (DJ’ing our favourite song from UK duo Honne), then she moved us on to some Caribbean vibes for dinner and finally she got us pumped up with a DJ set to take the night away!Miss Renee seemed to understand our crowd so perfectly because I barely got a chance to pee! Every song pick was better than the last and I just could not drag myself away from the dancefloor!She made our day such a highlight, and during a particularly difficult year, she’s such a positive ray of sunshine beaming out into the world!We count ourselves very lucky to have experienced her magic and will look for every opportunity to have her sound elevate every event in our life. xx

The most wonderfully talented, kind and caring human. Renee has the most beautiful voice and knows how to create a warm and calm atmosphere for the start of an event but can certainly pick it up to get the dance floor started- only problem is, no one was willing to get off it! Through the multiple date changes and cancellations of our wedding (due to COVID) Renee couldn't have been more accomodating and approachable. A real Gem! Couldn't recommend her more highly.

Miss Renee is absolutely the best. Our wedding simply wouldn’t have been what it was without her and her amazing band.We had to reschedule 4 times with all the travel restrictions and Renee was so unbelievably understanding and still so excited for us with each reschedule. She was so helpful with all the planning and really went above and beyond to help us coordinate and make sure it was everything we wanted it to be.On top of being so kind, organized, professional and all-round amazing to work with.. she has the most AMAZING voice and energy. She performed a beautiful acoustic set for the ceremony and had everyone on the dance floor the whole evening. I must have heard “the band and DJ are amazing!” About a hundred times from our guests. She had all our guests literally begging for more as the venue was closing up.Without a doubt one of the best decisions I made was Miss Renee, she is an absolute 12/10!

Miss Renee was a dream.From the first phone call my fiancée had with her we knew she was a professional when it came to weddings. We also loved the fact that she didn’t require heaps of information from us but rather a “songs we would love and hate to hear” to guide her set list.I am the first to admit that our song list was totally random was we both like such different music - a large contingent of our guests were from the country so we wanted a mix of classics and modern music - no easy task! We were first drawn in by the mix of live performance and DJ set for our wedding but on the day it was even better than we could have imagined.She picked up the vibe of our wedding and took it to a whole other level - the dance floor was something we will never forget! Our guests were just as obsessed as we were! Would highly recommend!

Renee was the absolute highlight of our wedding! The music and the vibe were the most important aspects of our celebration and we were over the moon with her performance the whole night. She brought the house down with the amazing vocals and live band set and then tore the dancefloor with the DJ set. She is all and more and we cannot flaw her, great artist, great professional and even better person.

The minute I spoke with Miss Renee I knew she was going to be such a special part of our wedding day. The entire organisation was so relaxed and easy and nothing was a problem. Miss Renee sang at our ceremony, during dinner and then spun the discs after dinner for so much dancing. People I have never seen dance before were burning the floor! If it wasn't for Miss Simone that would have never happened. Oh and boy......she has the most beautiful voice you will ever hear and the moves to suit. Thank you gorgeous for being a part of our beautiful day, it meant so much to us.

My now wife and I booked Miss Renee Simone for our wedding in October this year.With all of the ever changing restrictions around Covid, we were quite nervous as to what the atmosphere of the wedding would be like and whether we would be able to achieve a party vibe for the event.We could not have been happier with Renee and her band. Renee’s voice is absolutely incredible and made the ceremony and cocktail hour very intimate and special. Once the formalities were out of the way, Renee’s DJ set was perfect for our group of friends and the dance floor ended up being bloody loose!We are quite picky when it comes to music and Renee was great in understanding the vibe we wanted to create for different parts of the day and incorporated lots of the songs we sent through as a sample of our taste. She also gave us great recommendations for aisle songs, etc.So many of our guests have commented to us since the event how much they loved Renee’s music too!Given her ability and her versatility we would highly recommend Renee Simone to anyone!

Miss Renee Simone (and her incredible band) played at our wedding in late 2020 (ceremony, live music sets, DJ sets). Due to COVID restrictions we were unsure how our day and night would look. Renee however quickly put our concerns at ease. Renee is an incredible and engaging musician and has such amazing stage presence. She is also a beautiful soul who was an absolute dream to work with - I could not recommend Renee more highly.

What an amazing performer. Miss Renee Simone and the Tropical Trio played at our wedding and had everyone captivated. She created the perfect mood for everyone to relax, enjoy and have a dance on the lawn. Later when she switched to DJ mode once again everyone was caught up with the music she played. We can't thank Miss Renee Simone and the Tropical Trio enough. They helped create a magic evening at our wedding. Peter & David
