Canungra Valley Medical Centre

I have been attending this practice in all of its locations in Canungra since before I was born. I've seen changes some for the bad but mostly for the better. Whilst I understand people can and do get upset if they can't get an appointment with their Dr of choice if that Dr is fully booked, there are many great drs here at this practice. Over the years my main 3 Drs from this practice over the past 38yrs have kept me alive and saved my life a number of times. My family and I couldn't be more than happy with our experiences here. The practice Owner Dave is an incredible Dr with an amazing amount of knowledge, if I can't get into Dave, Garth is always my next point of call, 2 of the smartest and real doctors around. They know and do their jobs greatly. So please I beg in our current times of uncertainty surrounding COVID etc, don't take your stress and anger out on the staff here. The work bloody hard to try and find appointments to suit everyone.

Wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff are amazing and friendly they always get me in if I need an emergency appointment and my doctor is the best there is... unfortunately he isn't taking new patients... we all keep him so busy but there are 2 new doctors that I have seen and I found them very thorough and lovely as well. Highly recommend them. Oh and they have a nurse on site for all those things including women's things so you for need to worry about that. Cheers Kim

Have been going to this doctors surgery for 5 years and have always been pleased by the friends staff and doctors.

Worst attitude I have ever come across as they refused to provide medical assistance to one of our children that has caught exactly what another one of our children has who got treated at this clinic last week, what a crazy world where medical centre refuse to provide the service that our taxes pay for!!!!!Offered no solutions except go to the hospital OMFG

Excellent dentist & staff

Would not recommend Carli Cook to anybody of you have any medical condition beyond dermatitis, which was also misdiagnosed in my mothers case. I have serous symptomology and was told that she did not want to send for scans because was concerned that she would be questioned by medicare. Futhermore, was told that I am beyond her scope of practice after nothing more than a blood test. She informed me that ot was not viable that she did research about ED related health conditions as research was only for personal interest and not for individual patients (in so many words). She then asked me to get a second opinion regardless of the fact that she investigated or diagnosed nothing. Lacks empathy (according to 6 years in my psychology research), and common sense after 10 minutes of crying she told me to see someone else. Worst doctor I've ever had, and I am concerned when a doctor does not want to test, just to cover their own *you know what*. Not about the patient... only about what is easy or guessing. The receptionist staff are absolutely wonderful though, however, unfortunately that's not why you go to the doctor.

Best doctor, looked after my sick father and were very kind and helpful. Would recommend any time.

Excellent doctors and friendly office staff. Open 7 days and extended hours which is awesome for a little country town. Off road car park needs a lot of work. Lots of pot holes and uneven so be careful in the back car park
