Best pub ever. This is the only place I drink beer in the inner west and you can see the train go past. Food is incredible. Great outdoor screen. Pool table is as flat as central Australia. Will be back.

Looks can be deceiving.I wasn't expecting too much, but was pleasantly surprised to have had a very tasty burger and chips.The ideal hangover cure. It definitely hit the spot.Nice pub, friendly staff, great outside deck.

Food was good sized portion, tasty and fair price.However when I ordered dessert, took them 15mins to realise they had run out of the pudding to tell me. Should be better communication between the bar staff taking the orders and kitchen crew on what's available.The trivia sound setup needs improving - sounds like the host is under water so it was very hard to hear the questions.

Average local pub. It’s now a lot better after the renovation back in 2020. Can get a bit rowdy at times but overall nice atmosphere. Food is good, reasonably priced - just your typical pub feed. Cheap pint is a winner though, $7 atm for beer of the month.

I would like to thank the two most amazing bae staff yesterday for making probably my Dad's last year the best of days ever. Thankyou Drew and Jasmine and all the locals who pitched in for a brilliant two up. Dad was seriously stoked! Xx

I’ve lived very close to this establishment for a bit over three years now. Let me just say, this place makes me feel safe. It is an outstanding establishment. Great food, great locals, awesome staff. Grub is good, and screens everywhere for footy in the winter, and cricket in the summer. Outstanding opening hours. Long live SHH.

*We ate it all cause we were hungry, not cause it was good*I love the uplift at the SH and seeing how it has evolved over the years. It is truly a great place to watch a game, play some poor or have a few smokes with your wines. The bar staff are friendly, approachable and helpful. The atmosphere is calm with a nice little buzz when people move across the bar.With all that said, the food was awful. It’s sadly gone down hill since the last time I ate there, albeit that was pre-Covid.My schnitzel had a strange flavour - I scraped the crumbs off it, the Diane sauce had a vinegar taste - it was not edible, and the chips were just average and not salted enough.My partner and a friend got the ribs, average in flavour, and both were up all night sick with food poisoning.One of our friends didn’t get their order, the kitchen’s printer ran out of docket papers and the staff didn’t bother to check it (they just stood around doing nothing) - that friend got a refund and a free beer - he was the lucky one.Someone needs to look in the kitchens fridge, I say I’d be scared to do it myself.

Order rump steak meal with mushroom sauce for delivery. The picture of the meal showed steak, chips & salad. What I actually received for $37: overcooked steak, chips and two squeeze packets of tomato and bbq sauce. Yep never again.

The functionality of the me&U ordering system was mediocre at best. I've used the system before, it works when the venue set it up correctly. Which it was not. The Buddah bowl" was laughable. Even more so considering the price of it. The lack of vego/vegan options was sad too. I get its a pub

A classic local pub opposite Summer Hill train station, it has a gaming room, small bar area, bottle shop & a large indoor and outdoor /balcony dining area where you can sit outdoors and see the train passing by. The food is classic pub fare & it comes out fairly quickly. Schnitzel is good as was the steak. Fries are always good especially the sweet potato fries. Servings are decent and weekday lunch specials are great value. Bar service is very friendly.
