Pedders Suspension & Brakes Wollongong

Didn’t feel welcomed at all!! Basically was talked out of what I wanted on my vehicle. Very bad customer experience. Went around the corner to TJM 4WD specialists and they came to my needs with everything I needed to update my vehicles rear suspension!!

We contacted Pedders with a problem with our vehicle. We had no idea of what we needed, Eddie gave us advice which we followed. He fitted us in early as we were going away. They did a great job at a reasonable price. Any further work will be done by Pedders and we totally recommend them.

Recently took my BT50 for a suspension upgrade. Pedders installed their TrakRyder Suspension. The product is awesome as was the service. The ride and handling improvement with and without weight in the tray or towing is fantastic. For 4wding, the suspension upgrade has improved ground clearance and articulation. All round very happy with the trak ryder product. The after sales service has also been great. As the car is brand new we didn't replace the bushes. One bush was squeaking and the guys fixed it no problems.

Pedders recently replaced the shocks and control arms on my car and provided a wheel alignment resetting the steering angle sensor as well as wheels. Car drives like new and Shane went to a great deal of trouble to talk me through the work.

New owners of the franchise, all new employees. Booked my car in for a wheel alignment, balance and rotation: was told that a balance wasnt possible with my tyres? Then told they 'will give it a go' after I mentioned it wasn't an issue in the past. Was quoted a price 30 dollars more than what I'd paid in the past.Arrived back and my car was up on the hoist getting an inspection. No work in the end was done to my car. They addmitted their wheel balancer was broken, they tried to call me to tell but said they had the wrong number. I looked at my invoice and my correct number was on there. I hope you guys are reading this. You need pick up your game... Never again will I deal with you.

Got about 8k of repairs done for 6.5k and my car feels AMAZING now. All work done within 48 hours and it was a lot of work. Very happy with the quality of work and the speed they finished the job at. Great customer service and brilliant quality work. Highly recommend and I'll be back for any future repairs for sure.

Would not recommend getting anything done here.Left nuts loose on control arms etc and scrubbed out tyres. The excuse was the phone was ringing and I was busy. After having the car for a week and being told it was ready. No excuse.

Late July 22, I took my car in to Pedders because I had a knock in the front suspension and for a wheel alignment. A little later that day I received a call from Pedders telling me the car was ready for collection only then did I find out the cost, which I thought was ok considering the knocking sound ( turns out it was just a loose bolt).The manager then offered some extra reasonably urgent work. Replace one broken engine mount and FLUSH brake system. The word flush is in CAPS because this is what they were supposed to do. Although he did mention my brake pads would need replacing in the near future.Just yesterday 15/10/22, I decided to finally replace ALL of my pads and rotors (discs) including the park brake shoes. You can imagine my unpleasant surprise when I began retracting the calliper pistons and a murky grey fluid flowed out.I thought this is not possible" as the system has just been flushed. I proceeded to double check and do the other wheel and sure enough same cloudy dark fluid flowed until finally I reached MY new fresh fluid.I took my car to pedders despite knowing they are more expensive than other workshops

Pedders at Wollongong turned a lemon into a car that now I am glad I bought. Shane said leave it with me and I will fix it.He did fix it and It's a pleasure to drive now. The wheel setup (new) was so bad it went through a set of tyres at 27,000k.The Dealer could not fix it and has gone broke. Now there is a worry gone, and now I am a happy lemon" owner.Regards bob b"

What a rip off! Charged me more than double what everyone else charges for a wheel alignment. And to top it off they made wrong adjustments that will cause uneven tyre wear, so now I have to pay someone else to do it properly. Maybe they should find out who the car belongs too before they try and feed a qualified mechanic a load off lies to justify why they just ripped me off. Do yourself a favour spend your hard earned cash elsewhere.
