As a interior designer, I must say that this is a horrible company. Floor designs are weird since every room is crammed into the house. I'd say that they really do not apply ergonomic designs, have'nt seen any considerations of light, noise, humid, traffic flow, risks, etc in designs. It's sad to see this but there is always time to improve.

I had an initial chat to Jamin in 2021 about renovations to our traditional 3-bedroom Queenslander in Bulimba. Jamin and Matt’s knowledge was great, and their past work really showed that they knew how to design a modern space off an existing building. They hit the brief we would 100% recommend this company to family and friends. Our Project will be completed early 2023.

An absolutely horrid experience with this firm. Some of their designs were undeniably terrible, which they tried to explain by saying design is subjective but we had multiple other people (architects and tradesmen) confirm our thoughts on some of their design ideas. They thought having bedroom windows on the side of the house overlooking the neighbours properties was a better idea than at the back of the house looking into the tree tops and then resisted when we asked for them to be changed. In addition to some very questionable designs, their plans were also inaccurate and incomplete, failing to deliver some items for which we paid.We signed their “Architectural Design” proposal and the only contact I had with an actual registered Architect was one email where I was sent a hand drawn sketch of a floor plan that looked like something a primary school student had knocked up in about 5 minutes. When we raised these issues with the company, their response was to say they’d charged us “Building Design” rates and that’s the service we received, despite our contract of engagement clearly being titled “Architectural Design”. Our experience with this company was one lacking in diligence, competency and professionalism.The true extent of the deficiency in the drawings provided by this company became evident as the build project progressed and the number of issues continues to rise given the build is still going.We have had to redesign the project during the course of the build, including appointing another designer to provide drawings that weren't initially done but luckily will end up with a finished product that is far superior to the one we would've received had we relied on the drawings and plans provided by this company.

After having a horrible experience with a previous draftsman, I was recommended to contact Jamin. I am so glad I contacted them and can not say how grateful I am for Paul and Jamin's professionalism and the care that they took with me. I highly recommend these guys. Thank you again Jamin and Paul.

We engaged Flourish to design an extension on our very dated 3 bedroom/1 bathroom house. They carefully sat down with us to determine our needs and provided us with well thought out alternatives every step of the way. We were extremely happy with the final plans and the end result has transformed our home. We especially love our large main bedroom design that flows into an ensuite area. The only problem is I spend too much time in the new media room!

Flourish Architecture designed our family home in 2021. We had previously worked with another company, however the designer did not listen to our needs, and did not provide any design solutions for our unique block. Needless to say, after months of back and forth, we felt frustrated and discouraged. After our first meeting with Jamin, we knew he understood what we were trying to achieve. He and Matt, then came back with a floor plan and design concept that met every need and exceeded our expectations! Danielle then guided us through the interior design process and gave us design concepts based on some images we provided. The end result was a beautiful, functional and energy efficient home. The home is custom built to suit our young family’s needs. We have lived in the home for about 4-months, and we wouldn’t change anything. Flourish also worked closely with the engineer to provide solutions for some aesthetic features of the roofline that were important to the overall look of the design. We are so grateful to Jamin, Matt, Danielle and the team at Flourish Architecture.

During a time of so much uncertainty in the building industry and prices going up frequently Jamin worked really hard to get us as much of our 'want' list as possible. Managing regular changes from us, price fluctuations and multiple builders quoting on the job, he helped us get a great builder and we're really looking forward to moving back into our newly renovated home. Jamin and Matt of Flourish Architect have given me a future in a beautiful that meets all my needs of space, manageability and lifestyle. Working with them was a great pleasure. They took my ideas, needs and desires, then created a design that surpasses my imagination. For a retiree who has down-sized, there is ample storage for lifelong treasures. To aid my mobility issues, doorways and the placement of furniture were designed with generous navigational pathway. It is a beautiful house, that has received the greatest compliment from the judges for the Master Builders Award. The Lady Galway House has been truly designed for later in life, and is most liveable without any hint of the necessities of old age within a great feeling of space and light. The Home received a Master Builder Housing Award in 2022.Kay Bodman
