I have been with Drake Medox for about five years now. I have Felt that Drake has always considered me and made me feel like a valued member. Their efforts in ensuring the well-being of both staff and clients have been priceless in creating the family like community that we have.

Unprofessional management and completely unreasonable expectations, in particular Kristen Chadder (recruitment coordinator in Canberra) who cancelled my scheduled interview and refused to have an interview with me because I did not want to provide details such as passport numbers and photos, license numbers and photos, birth certificates etc before an interview ever taking place, I told Kristen I’d provide them after an interview if I wanted to accept any job offers, she then cancelled my scheduled interview which she had already booked and discriminated against me because I value my own privacy. No privacy policy was ever sent to me.I am completely qualified for the role but simply chose not to give sensitive information to a person I’d never met and to a company I wasn’t sure I even wanted to work for, so I was dismissed.My resume stated everything that was needed in order to secure and engage in an interview. Kristen was completely unreasonable with her expectations because apparently if they have a job opening, you’re expected to be thankful they even want to talk to you and sacrifice your privacy to do so.I was given the ultimatum that I either provide those details or I don’t get an interview.I declined to progress any further and will never engage in any type of employment with this company.

Drake Medox is such a wonderful company for both clients and staff. The management is very supportive to staff and always ready to listen and offer solutions. They offer a flexible work environment that strikes the desired work/life balance.

As an employee, Drake have offered flexibility in working hours (ideal for people juggling other commitments), safe and positive working conditions and ongoing support throughout difficult situations which arise. It has been a delight to work for the Canberra team!

Drake has the best support for their clients and staff. As a newly graduated social work student, Drake offers me a lot of training and support to assist me in gaining experience and applying my social work knowledge into my work with my clients.
