I have been using the service here for about 10 years, through 3-4 owners. Recently, I had 1 pants need them to redo, when I came back to get the pants, the owner asked me if I paid last time, I said: this is a redo and I paid last time when I picked up already. She kept asking: Are you sure because in the system, it says unpaid. I said: You need to ask the staff who served me last time, I couldn't take the pants out of your shop without pay. She then said: next time, pay upfront because the clients often forgot to pay. I told her that I have never owed anyone anything, don't say that. Later, I showed her the transaction history on my phone that I paid, no apology, I said that, next time, don't tell me that the clients often forgot to pay, you need to train your staff properly to remember to record to the system when the clients paid, don't keep asking the clients like this, then warning the clients like this, very annoyed. She then raised her voice to me and swore to me. Never come back.

Brought in a waterproof ski coat that had ripped in the arm, very pleased with the results! New seams match existing seams perfectly.

Belt keepers on hubby's pants were repaired so well that he couldn't tell which ones were fixed. Reasonable price and turn around time, especially for works done over Christmas break.

I go to Alter It in HP for everything alterations. They are my ultimate go-to! I have trust and faith from going there so frequently that I know I’ll be happy with their service. They don’t give you surprises, they advise if something can or cannot be done and they tell you what something should come out like! They are the experts!!! Highly recommend.

Been coming here at least once a week for over a year, and they are always super friendly and accommodating with my needs. Only once has a mistake been made but they were very quick to fix it free of charge right away. Anytime I need something done urgently, they have always been able to make it work. Would definitely recommend!

**AVOID GOING HERE TO GET ANYTHING DONE**(I would give a negative star if I could)The worst customer experience I've ever experienced! Starting with waiting to get served for 15mins and having the staff to ignore you while waiting patiently, once I've got someone's attention finally i was attended and then having someone cutting the queue while getting served made me feel less important.Fast forward with everything all pinned ready to be altered and complete on a promised date. A Week has gone by, I went there at the day was set to finish and once I got there.. the 2 suits I had there was not complete! At that point I was very annoyed, no apologies were given and was told to come back towards 3:30pm and they will have it done. Lucky I've aloud a week to get this all done.Once I've came back around 4pm giving them an additional 30mins, they've manage to HAVE THINGS SLIGHTLY MORE PREPARED. Here is the part when it went down hill, I went to go try on the suits and both suits seems like nothing has been touched or altered. I then had a honest conversation with the lady (owner) telling her my whole experience from the begining and how it wasn't done right, she decided not to listen and argued back every word that I've said. She swore, raised her voice and didn't give me any other option then to leave unhappy and disappointed.Both my suit bags was apparently lost and wasn't given any replacements.I run a retail business myself and I would never treat my customers that way with poor customer service.I would highly NOT recommended this place to anyone!
