Sebastopol Motor Wreckers

From my personal experiences and friends experiences the employees are far nicer here than other Ballarat wreckers. Prices are average and same with the amount of stock. But the office is very nice and modern with a reasonably priced vending machine

Changed my power steering pump, then lost my car keys. Then replaced the ignition, then realised he’d need to do the door locks too and recode the central locking and immobiliser system. Mid way through this adventure they found the original keys in a random glove compartment of a car out in the yard and got to do it all again in reverse to end up where they were a month earlier.I can’t really complain, the walking probably did me good and it’s not like they charged me for their incompetence and unfortunate memory IQ but i was without a car for a month at least.Could have given me a loaner. It’s not like they don’t have a spare set of wheels.Hopefully my future experience is better so I can redact this review.

They sold wrong item in poor condition this was discovered quickly and items taken back to shop in good faith of replacement or refund, staff could not replace item of same quality but offered much inferior parts not in a in legal roadworthy condition and far inferior to item purchased they were rude and arrogant stating no refunds and walking away. Do NOT use this business. No customer relations skills whatever.

Called Brad re some parts from a vehicle, he said that he has one in stock. Arrived a few hours later as i was 250 km away. Within Minutes Brad had organised Dan the adult apprentice to assist me in removing said parts. Parts were inexpensive and all done with a smile. Thanks Brad. I did say i would review your business. Great customer service, very helpful and kind. Been here many time and got many parts from here and never had a problem with them. I will never go to anyone else

We've been dealing with this wrecker for about a month now. He promised us a lid for our ute. Of course wanted money up front for both the art and labour. The lid was to come from intrastate. 2 weeks go by and we a call from one of the workers saying the owner was going through personal trouble and lost that cover. They would look for another. Another week goes by, we here nothing! I call, with no real result. So, yesterday we pop in to see what's holding things up...by the way we're pensioners. My husband is 83. The owner was so rude and arrogant and just brushed us off, making us feel as though this was our fault. He has our money, over $1000

Can't agree more with the majority of the other reviews. The guy only wants to rip people off and is not interested in retaining customers by providing reasonable prices without intimidating them with pressure sales tatics. I get that he runs a business and needs to make money however this may pay off in the short term but long term his business will suffer.

Been going here for a few years now always been looked after affordable and friendly we get our car parts and repairs here all the time even brought engines and had them installed with warranty and had absolutely no problems, highly recommend this place

They were the only wreckers in Ballarat who had the transmission I needed. Price was good and good service. Was hard getting out of the street with active roadway to pull onto but that's not the wreckers fault
