Nice food! We really liked the bruschetta.I ordered the vegetarian calzone, in my opinion it needed a little bit more flavoured cheese or at least salt? But it was good anyways. My partner ordered pizza and he loved the salami.It’s very Italian like pizza, very different from the thick bread-like Australian one!Massive portions, advisable to share.They don’t sell alcoholic drinks but you can take your own and they are fine with it!Nice and helpful staff.

Hubby and I had a wonderful meal for dinner at II Buco Cafe and Lizzeria tonight. The service was amazing. The flavours and portions were wonderful! Will be sure to visit again when we are next in town. Thank you so much ☺️

The pizzas here are pretty delicious and the vibes of the place are nice. I went with my family on a Thursday night and it was great!The only thing you have to be aware of is that the toilets are located upstairs, without pram or wheelchair accessibility.

Cannot fault this place. On a busy Saturday night during school holidays our food came out hot and on time. Staff were fantastic. Food was amazing. The burrata pizza is to die for. We are only here for 5 days but we will definitely be back.

This restaurant is amazing. Real Italian cuisine, amazing and super tasty food. Treat yourself the burrata starter. It’s the best burrata you’ll ever try! They are generous with there portions and the staff is friendly.

The best type of experience you get when you least expecting it! Il Buco is located in an unassuming, hidden nook but don't let it fool you, the outside area, the service and most important the food quality compensate for lack of fancy inside space.We were sitted on a table in the middle of the pedestrians only street, next to tables served by other restaurants.The staff was very attentive and accommodating, the food came out fast and to our surprise, the pizzas were of highest quality, sort of quality you would expect from a fancy Italian place in a big city, not from a hole in a wall at Byron.Highly recommended for a bite with kids!

Pizza is average. My salciccia pizza had a soggy crust and few toppings. The gluten free crust is store bought. The restaurant is BYO but changes a $3 fee if you bring your own alcohol. I do not plan to return.

As much as the pizza dough and crust was great I think that for the price they could of put on more condiment. My pizza was Gorgonzola, sausage and sauce. Could not taste Gorgonzola and the sausage could of been more.Another note is as being an Italian my self I enjoy speaking with other Italians, but these guys were not in the mood for a chat. They kept it simple and basic.-Table for 1-Order-Pay-Bye byeWell it's good to give every place a try.Smiling is still for free so try it out.
